    Link here.

    East

    Pau Gasol

    Carmelo Anthony

    LeBron James

    John Wall

    Kyle Lowry

    West

    Marc Gasol

    Anthony Davis

    Blake Griffin

    Kobe Bryant

    Stephen Curry

John Wall, Kyle Lowry, Anthony Davis and Marc Gasol all first time starters. Know most people will probably have some gripes, especially about Kobe Bryant. It is lifetime achievement for him, definitely, but he has that torn rotator cuff and might be iffy to play. Either way, let the substitution predictions begin!

Jimmy Butler has to be voted in by coaches.

Hawks have no starters, but should get at least 2 starters (does Teague or Korver slip in to make it 3?)

Lowry is playing like a beast. Glad to see him get respect by John Q Public.

I wonder how long it’s been since a player on the team with the worst record in the league was an All Star, let alone a starter.

That’s the only one I could think of too, his last year in Orlando. Just did a little research on that team. They started the season 1-10, Doc Rivers was fired, and were 13-41 at the All Star break. Ended up finishing 21-61.

Kyle Lowry caught D. Wade? Good for him!

Neither Kobe or Melo deserve to make it. IF Kobe doesn’t play, put in Klay Thompson. Start Harden. I’m sure Melo will play unfortunately.

Surprised Kevin Durant didn’t get voted in as a starter, even with his injuries.

The Hawks have two or three All-Stars in my opinion. I think both Jeff Teague and Paul Millsap are locks. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Al Horford make it. Even though Kyle Korver is a long shot, I think he’s definitely deserving. 50, 50 and 90? His numbers don’t come close to showing his impact on the floor.

Carmelo should not be in the asg. If that is the case, the the player selection should be a toss..regardless of team record. Man the fans are so dumb

    As for kobe….see above.

On another note glad to se kyle lowry made it…well deserved. For the hawks to have 3 players in the asg is kind of pushing it. Milsap and Lowry would be good enough. Horford should not be in the asg

Interesting to see Marcin Gortat so high in the voting, I wonder if he stands any chance of getting in?

Atlanta need representation so I hope Millsap gets in. I assume K-Love will get a nod.

Pau Gasol has made a great return to form this year, D-Rose would be a nice return too, Jimmy Butler has to be in also.

Out West Harden, Paul, Lillard, Thompson and Westbrook all have good claims.Harden deserves start if Kobe is out. If any of the above guards miss out then I think it has to be Westbrook as the others have played more this year.

Western frontcourt will be interesting, I think we can assume that Durant and LMA will be in. DMC must surely be in this year, Howard is a regular All Star and is on a winning team so will get votes, Nowitzki will always be considered and given the amount of votes the Tim Duncan got added to this might be his last season and with Kobe being out, the coaches may decide to ensure that they get one "major farewell" guy in.
