Mock Draft Contest

Our “Draft Day Challenge” is back! Scores are given based on accuracy of
mock draft, and prizes will be awarded. Be the top “mocker” and win our top
prize, a brand new Sony Play Station 3.

Be sure to fill out a 60 player mock draft before the NBA draft starts
and compete with your friends and the entire NBADraft.net
community.

Your score will be recorded and you will receive an overall score, rank and
percentile among participants.

Scoring System

Here is the scoring system (after the draft is complete). Different point totals
are awarded for first round picks (positions 1 – 30) and second round picks
(positions 31 – 60).

	1-30 (First round)	31-60 (Second Round)
Exact pick	5 pts	3 pts
within 3 positions	3 pts	1 pt
within 5 positions	2 pts	1 pt
within 10 positions	1 pt	1 pt
greater than 10 positions	0 pt	0 pt

Rules:

1. You must provide a valid name, email and address.

2. Deadline to submit mock draft is 30 minutes prior to start of draft.

Create & Share Your Mock Draft

Our latest feature allows you to not only create a full 60 player mock
draft but write explanations for why you think each pick will be made. Set your
mock, fill in your comments and send the link to friends or post it on Facebook
or other social networking sites for all your friends to see!

Member Point System

Another new feature on the site is a point system which is based upon accumulating
points on the forum (with our new thumbs up/thumbs down point system) – as well
as accumulating points in other ways such as suggesting friends become members,
as well as scoring high in the Draft Day Challenge.

tech guy is aware of pts glitch and working on it.

i think the points system can be good, gives people incentive to make quality posts and improve the overall conversation of the board.

i hope my draft is in, because it doesnt say submit anywhere, after editing it for the final time probabl 2 mins bfore the time was up i just left the screen sitting there since there is no submit button, i am concerned because i was low on time and i hope my ock draft is counted in the contest. could someone please let me know how this works

I know this juve guy had 12 exact 1st round picks and a ton that were within 3 or 5.

I had 13 exact, and plenty within 3 or 5. And based on me going through juve’s and mine’s mocks, I tallied us both as having 111 points each. Of course I could be adding the scores up wrong.

Went searching through some old threads and found yours. Your 1st round score was only 81. 10+ lower than mine and juvo’s. You were within 3 on 10 of them, and most of those were actually just 1 or 2 off, and then you throw in the Carrol guarantee, and then you would have been right with the top dawgs.
