Kokayne_DawkinzParticipantare there any players projected to go highly in next years draft that you just don’t see what they hype is about? For me it’s Buddy Heild. He looks like at best Joodie Meeks 2.0 and that’s not really lotto value. Imo he’s more of a late first/ early second round pick. He’s very comparable to CJ Wilcox only Wilcox was a better defender and rebounder and he couldn’t make it in the league. My next 1rounder wonder is Issac Copeland. I’m not going to get into numbers because they can be misleading playing in Georgtowns Princeton offense but his game just doesn’t stick out to me. Combine that with his average athleticism and below average length and I see a subpar prospect

SpaceghostParticipanthow can a guard with no change of direction and no left hand be a lottery pic. MAN cmon. But if u go to Duke.. the hype machine rolls. I guess you if you drop 30 on Siena and VCU makes you first round worthy….AWWW what am i even saying everyone behind Ben Simmons is a toss up..

thaprodigyParticipantSo it continues… Austin Rivers couldn’t use his left hand to save his life at Duke, not sure if he can right now either.

Magic JordanParticipantI’ll admit, I thought Malik Pope was going to have a good year and be a late lottery pick. I mean I guess he still could due to his physical gifts. But holy cow, he is bad.
With his shooting range and his decent handle and mobility. He should be dominating at SDSU, at least around 15 ppg… which isn’t even dominating. Perhaps he is being used wrong, but that would just be an excuse.
He looks like he hardly belongs on a college court at this point.

SpaceghostParticipantI watched Malik Pope 3 times this year.. man he looks is terrible…looks like coach fisher has given him the green light and he is out to prove that he is a shooter.

terrancebowerParticipantRon Baker is the guy that comes to mind. He seems like a mid second rounder to me… Not a good athlete, undersized, not great at any one trait, I think WSU’s success has made people think he’s better than he is, like Napier a couple years ago. Maybe a decent role player in the NBA. Some other sites have Meeks as a 1st rounder as well and I Just don’t see him translating to the NBA very well with his lack of height and athleticism with little range. He’d really have to transform his body.
