Two big upsets Friday night in basketball action:

1) Bessemer City upsets Hoover

Hoover, the 2015 Class 7A state champions.

Shades Valley.

2) 1A champions best 7A Spain Park

Also, Austin Wiley to 16 points as Spain Park lost 77-50.

Wiley also had 15 rebounds and six blocks. For Sacred Heart, Jamal Johnson add 11 points and five rebounds.
