NCAA Power 16 Rankings

As just 16 teams remain in the NCAA Tournament, it’s time to see how they stack up against one other. This tournament has been filled with surprises and virtually every bracket is busted. Every region looks a little different, some went almost straight chalk, some are missing all their top seeds, and some are somewhere in the middle. In what has been a historic tournament, 16 teams remain and here’s how they rank.

Sweet Sixteen Preview: East

It’s odd to hear this but following the past weekend of college basketball, one region almost was straight chalk. So, don’t worry, you won’t hate any of these teams for busting your bracket. And the quality of play should be the highest and most entertaining despite not having a Cinderella to root for. Jalen Brunson and Villanova have handled business with 20+ point victories in each game, also a feat that Jevon Carter and West Virginia have accomplished. While Purdue and Texas Tech are coming off three-point victories in the Round of 32.

Sweet Sixteen Preview: South

The South Region has been in the headlines since the NCAA Tournament started. Arizona busted brackets early with a loss to Buffalo, Loyola-Chicago became the Cinderella Story of the field, and oh yeah, we witnessed the first #1 seed to lose to a #16 seed, nonetheless it being the overall 1 seed and overwhelming favorite to win it all. Fast forward to the Sweet 16 and the South Region lost each of the top four seeds and we are left with a 5, 7, 9, and 11 seed and a bunch of brackets in shambles.
