NORTH BETHESDA, Md. -- The 2013 National High School Invitational was the best in the event’s five-year history, full of competitive games, thrilling endings, nationally ranked teams and plenty of elite players.
When the dust settled, No. 2 seed Montverde Academy (Fla.) came away with its first NHSI title with a come-from-behind, last-second 67-65 victory over No. 4 seed St. Benedict’s (N.J.) in the championship game.
