Ypsilanti boys still unbeaten after 65-31 win over Adrian

Ypsilanti's boys basketball team improved its record to 4-0 with a 65-31 win over Adrian that included a 23-3 first quarter lead.

Ypsilanti improved the 20-point first quarter lead to 36-15 at the half.

Corey Allen led Ypsilanti with 17 points. Jaylen Johnson had 13.

Ypsilanti coach Steve Brooks said freshman guard Darian White, making his first varsity start, did an excellent job of feeding teammates in the first quarter run.

"He has a high IQ and a real feel for basketball," Brooks said. "Everyone got in the scoring column, which was great for us. We were pleased to get production from a lot of guys."
