De’Riante Jenkins scored 23 points and Corey Sanders tallied 20 for West Oaks (3-0) in a 71-58 victory against visiting Tavares Liberty Christian Prep (1-1) on Tuesday night.
Tacko Fall, the 7-foot-6 player from Senegal who recently signed with UCF, scored 12 points for Liberty Christian (1-1).
“We were driving and hitting open shots on the perimeter,” West Oaks assistant coach Nick Kvasnovsky said. “On defense, we fronted [Tacko] Fall.”
West Oaks countered Fall with 6-10 Dainius Chatkevicius.
