Lotto StudParticipantDoes this mean minutes for Selby at the 1 now?

ilike.panochasParticipantI hope so, Taylor has not been very good, and I’m sure having Selby at PG can’t be any worse.

flyboyParticipantTaylor is a good player. He’s a nice passer, he’s improved his ballhandling, he’s improved his PG skills (although he still makes a few too many bad decisions), plays good defense, and he’s starting to show some improvements with his shooting. He also gives them someone who can actually play PG without looking uncomfortable, unlike Selby. We’ll see how Selby does with more playtime.

ilike.panochasParticipantTyshawn is the type of PG that won’t hurt your team, but he also brings very little to help you win. I would rank him in the bottom half as far as PG rankings in the Big 12. Selby can do just about everything Tyshawn brings to the table, and MORE.

PaulsJayhawksParticipantGot the start and had a career night. Showed great d, hit outside shots and didn’t turn the ball over.
Selby had a couple nice drives he just seems a tad slow due to the injury. he does play very much within the offense. Some great interior passes to the twins.

JoeWolf1Selby hasn’t played well since coming back from his injury and last night was no real exception. I think his best game back was the Colorado game on Saturday in which he tallied 5 assists, but only had 2 points. He shoots himself out of games when he’s not on. He’ll continue to force shots and when he does look for a teammate its usually after a couple TO’s or missed shots.
I’d rather have Morningstar or EJ getting minutes at the point right now. They’re both better defenders and operate better in the offense. Selby is best suited as an off guard at this point in his career. He needs some work on his pg skills before he can run an offense well on a top 5 team, let alone an NBA one.
