Ravenscroft never trailed on Monday night as it defeated Virginia Episcopal School in the John Wall Bracket of the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, 73-63.

Ravenscroft opened up a 14-9 lead after the first quarter, but saw that lead shrink to just four points by halftime.

The second half belonged to the Ravens though. In the third quarter, Ravenscroft built an 11-point lead, and lead by as many as 16 points in the fourth quarter.

Although the lead never went in favor of Virginia Episcopal, the game was tied four times.

Ravenscroft was led by David Reynolds' 22 points on 11-of-21 shooting. He also pulled in eight rebounds and dished out four assists.

The Ravens also got 19 points from P.J. Stephens and 11 points from MIchael Okauru. As a team, Ravenscroft shot 48 percent from the field.

Justice Kithcart, a Durham native, led Virginia Episcopal in scoring with 27 points. Sacha Killeya-Jones and Delante Jones both scored 10 points for the Bishops.
