Season Preview:Rancho Christian may have the most menacing frontcourt in high school basketball, with the unstoppable Mobley connection down low.
Regarded as the No. 1 prospect in the junior class, Evan Mobley is set to have a monster junior season beside his brother, the No. 16 prospect in the Class of 2019, Isaiah Mobley.
The deadly frontcourt combination will look to flourish on the national stage this season, with strong guard play to compete against a challenging national schedule.
Impact transfers Byers, Stephens and Harris will battle returning guards Montgomery and Turner for playing time in a crowded Eagles backcourt.
The Eagles face Sierra Canyon, La Lumiere, Simeon and Pinnacle — and also travel to the Tarkanian Classic and Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament during their demanding national slate.
Rancho Christian is a major contender to complete their goal of capturing the 2018-19 CIF Open Division state championship with Sierra Canyon being the biggest obstacle in its quest.
