NBA Comparison: Jeff Green

Strengths: Very versatile player possessing a strong body … He can comfortably play any position 1 through 4 at the current level, but will eventually settle into a role as a multitalented wing player … He has a variety of moves of the dribble to create space, but he also knows how to use his body to get the defender offbalance … Once he gets into the lane he is very difficult to contain because he can finish in a variety of ways using his strength more so than athleticism … He is a confident shooter and once he gets into a rhythm he can make them in a flurry … As a rebounder he has a great sense of where the ball is going, add in his broad shoulders and leaping ability and you see why he is such a force on the glass … His best asset may be his ability to take the rebound and
push the ball in transition, where he makes good reads and delivers the ball to the right spots … Plays with great tenacity and is never afraid of a challenge on the court …

Weaknesses: There is no doubt that he has many talents, but he has not yet found a niche to his game … He is a scorer, but you can't categorize him as a shooter because he is still somewhat inconsistent, nor as a slasher because his ball handling still needs some tightening … His shooting stroke is smooth and he gets good elevation but his release is off the side of the head and he tends to fade which may be the cause of some of his shooting inconsistencies … At times he tries to do too much on his own and can throw up some ill advised shot, but it is something that should naturally change as he matures … His biggest drawback may be subpar footspeed, especially laterally … At this level he is effective defensively because he can bump the offensive player out of the driving lanes, but when he faces stronger and quicker player he may struggle staying infront of them…

Borko Popic - 10/1/2008

Strengths: Hamilton just finished his freshman year in High School, but already shows great promise as a player. He is a good athlete with nice leaping ability. Always around the ball, Jordan hustles and does all the intangibles within the flow of the game. He has excellent court awareness and makes great decisions with the ball creating opportunities for himself, finding open teammates, and creating mismatches. He is a very good dribbler but plays a controlled game. His post-up skills are solid for a wing. His shooting touch is also consistent. He is a very hard worker who shows great desire to play the right way.

Weaknesses: He appears to be solid at everything but may not be great at any one aspect of the game. He has the talent to be a top player, but lacks a killer instinct. He seems a little tentative at times, playing like someone who doesn't want to be in the spotlight. His defense is decent, but there is room for improvement, especially against stronger players. He is always hustling, but could be a bit tougher.
