Ohio State basketball offers Upper Arlington freshman SG Dane Goodwin: Buckeyes recruiting

Ohio State basketball coach Thad Matta offered Upper Arlington freshman shooting guard Dane Goodwin on Saturday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State basketball coach Thad Matta is getting a jump start on the 2018 recruiting class.

According to his Twitter account, Upper Arlington freshman shooting guard Dane Goodwin received an offer from Matta and the Buckeyes on Saturday.

A 6-foot-4 shooting guard, Goodwin is the son of Damon Goodwin, the head men's basketball coach at Division III Capital University. Damon Goodwin is a former college star at Dayton, and former draft pick of the Phoenix Suns.
