Tiny Gallon

I think he will be a great college player this year and he will be dominate. He reminds me of a mix of Kevin Love and Big Baby. Have any of you guys seen him play? Any thoughts on him as a prospect?

Isn't he only 6-8 or

Isn't he only 6-8 or something and like 270 pounds. I feel like I should know this since I live in Oklahoma...I hope he's good. We need someone to guard Aldriche

Yea he is. More like Big

Yea he is. More like Big Baby than Shaq, my bad for that comparison. He's actually about 300 pounds.

He's worked himself into shape

He looked like a different player from his junior season while playing in the McDonald's All American Game. He ran the floor really well, and looked very fluid for a former 300+ lbs big man. His future in the NBA will depend on whether or not he can maintain his shape and play at a high level. If he does expect him to be a 2-3 player for Oklahoma.

Is he a good defender? I

Is he a good defender? I don't think he's very polished offensively from what I've seen and from his height but if he's a good defender and rebounder he could turn into the Dejuan Blair of next year. Aldrich would be his Thabeet and he would own up on him. That would be sweet.

Yea he has real good feet

Yea he has real good feet and he is everything you can ask for offensively..so I expect him and Warren to be a good tandem next year. He is more talented on offense than DeJuan Blair, but they have similar size and length. He isnt that good on D

Yeah, Mays a nice

Yeah, Mays a nice comparison, overweight & short for his position, but I also see Jeff Adrien or maybe even DeJuan Blair..not in terms of rebounding though

He has quick feet for a guy his size, hes an interesting prospect though, after he gets a bit more polished anyone see this guy making the NBA?

I got a chance to see him

I got a chance to see him several times this year, and one thing stood out - he needs someone to smack him upside the head.

He plays similar to Antoine Walker in that he tries to be a perimeter scorer and even a point-forward, but clearly isn't either of those things. He lacks any semblence of intensity both on the boards and defensively. He really looks disinterested in the game as a whole when the ball isn't in his hands.

With that said, Gallon has a lot of talent, and if Capel can get him to come to play every night, he could be one of the top five players in this freshman class. That's a really big if, though.

He's very polished

He's very polished offensively. He's got an amazing stroke for a guy his size that extends out to the 3 point line.

No, I've seen him play in the national high school championships against schools like Findlay Prep, St. Francis and Montrose Christian and he is not like Sean May. I agree Adi, he does play very similiar to Antoine Walker, but he seemed to have a decent basketball i.q., but just lacked the intensity neccesary to be a consensus top 5 high school player. All those guys who were on Oak Hill , like Lamont "MoMo" Williams, Doron Lamb among others, seemed to not play as intensified when the ball was not in their hands- and that was the main reason that Findlay Prep beat them in the final game- because they had complete players willing to do it on both ends.

i live in oklahoma and i am

i live in oklahoma and i am a huge OU fan,so hopefully this kid will live up to the hype. But OU is going to quietly be a top 5 team in the country next year. They got Tommy Mason-Griffin,Willie Warren, Tony Crocker,Tiny Gallon, and i believe they are very underrated
