lebron using knicks

i was reading an article and i realized something, both j kidd and grant hill used the knicks to get a decent deal with their team. now i looked at lbj and the cavs moves since this lbj to ny in 2010 thing. i think lbj has to be onwe of the most smart buisnessmen in the world. he must be using ny as a way to not only ensure he gets paid (cleveland owns his bird rights and there is no doubt in my head he will recieve the max from them) but ensures the front office does not sleep a minute until he resigns. everytime he utters new york, it seems that some on the cavs not named lebron is about to get traded. i live in springfiled gardens, ny and ive been a knicks fan since forever, but i really belioeve the knicks are nothing but a pawn in a game of chess between lbj and cleveland. now notice other players such as kidd and grant hill fall into the trend. is it me or is lbj using the knicks?

Very well could be the case.

Very well could be the case. I want him to stay in Cleveland I still think he's got a better chance there to win a title than in New York. By the way doesn't cleveland have like 51 million cap next year from Shaq, Big Z, and Lebrons contracts? Seems like they could get some good free agents next year. Correct me if I'm wrong.

your wrong. They will lose

your wrong. They will lose big contracts but will have like some players who are making some good money and will be under the cap by like 10-15 mil

I agree. I mean look at

I agree.

I mean look at whats going on around the league. The Celts added Rasheed Wallace and Marquis Daniels, they are loaded. Spurs added Jefferson and Mcdyess. Loaded. Lakers add Artest!? Damn, loaded. Orlando added Bass and VC. Semi-loaded. Theirs no way Lebron goes to NY if he wants a ring.

He's Lebron, what can NY do for him 'exposure'-wise that he already doesnt have?

How can he be using the

How can he be using the Knicks for money if hes already guaranteed max? As for using them to make the front office nervous hes also making free agents nervous who are reluctant to sign with cleveland because of the chance of him leaving. You are comparing him to old players trying to squeeze an extra million out for their finals contract.

As for him having a better chance in cleveland i don't agree with that either. Cleveland is not that great of a team without Lebron and already are not better head to head against the knicks without him. However while the cavs organization continues to surround him with old role players that wont be effective past 2010 anyways, i feel like the knicks are more equipped to provide him with real talent once he is actually in new york if he decides to come. IF lebron does come to new york, it suddenly becomes the most attractive free agent place in the nba, and on top of that they have an owner thats not scared to spend and will field a young and talented team around him. In a year chandler, Gallo, Hill, and toney, possibly lee and/or nate will be a great supporting cast and hopefully knicks can sign sessions, who i believe is as talented as mo williams, just needs a year or two to get there.
