Mavs v. Thunder

Thunder: Nobody on their team played good.

They traded up to draft Robert Vaden? Ha, he is not an NBA player. He doesnt even have the physical tools. Very bad athlete. Usually a good shooter, but he couldnt buy a basket. He definitely couldnt get to the rim. Bad defender, he's too slow and unagile. 4 pts.

BJ Mullens is very limited offensively. He reminds me of Kwame Brown. Small, and bad hands, no good moves, very low basketball IQ. Looks good in the jersey, but not a player yet. Will he ever be? Its too early to tell, since he has alot of tools. He needs a good big man coach. At least 2 years away from being a true rotation player. 2 pts 0rebs. Yep, 0.

Kyle Weaver would be a solid piece of a championship caliber team, like the Lakers or Spurs. Pretty versatile. He is a good enough ball handler to play the point, but he was making some lazy passes. Not a good shooter or scoring threat. He was a decent defender, but Shan Foster was running him through screens and he's too weak to get through them. Foster was making him pay by making the shots. He is an NBA player, just needs some minutes. 0 pts, 2 rebs

James Harden is a player that needs to take more shots. He is unselfish, but he could be more aggressive. He has a decent shot. Strong enough to get to the rim and finish, even though he isnt quick or fast. 11 pts, 4 rebs, 3 stls.

Tony Durant. Wow. Why? Because he's Kevin's brother? He's the anti-Kevin,the exact opposite. No future as a pro.

Shaun Livingston has lost a step or two. He is a talented passer still, but his explosiveness is pretty much zapped. He cant score that good. He has a mediocre jumper. Also, still weak and because of that he doesnt get to the rim despite his size advantage. He's really lacking in quickness now, and it hurts him defensively more than anything. He may make it in the league, but he doesnt deserve alot of minutes. So unfortunate for him. 5 pts, 4 assts.

Serge Ibaka is a great looking athlete. He isnt polished, but he can run and jump great. Gets alot of boards. Not very talented on offense. Foul prone defensively. Low basketball IQ. Wouldnt be a productive player right now, but he has talented and is more skilled than Thabeet, Sene and other Africans prospects. A few years away probably. 4 pts, 6 rebs.

Devon Hardin is a tough, physical guy. Strong. Great defender, who will block your shot. Not good on offense, and probably will never be. A role player who would be a good player on a contender. 10 pts, 8 rebs, 2 assts, 1 block.

DJ White has never been a player I've liked. He plays...sloppy. But he was productive so I didnt care. He needs to get better offensively. Gets boards. Looks out of shape, but he has lost some weight. Not an athlete. Fights on D, but is too unathletic to contest shots.Isnt NBA material, but he'll play in the L for at least 2 more years. He'll have to get better to play more. 5 pts, 2 rebs.

Mavs:

Roddy Beaubois. Dear SWEET JESUS. He is fast! But its under control speed, isnt too fast for his own good. He has a sweet jumper. Gets to the basket whenever he wants, and even though he is weak he finishes through contact. Also a good looking passer, especially in transition. Could be a better decision maker. Tough, pesky defender with Rondo-like arms. The heir apparent to Jason Kidd, no doubt. He was a definite steal in the draft, very impressive player. 23 pts, 5 assts.

Shan Foster could have a role as a shooter off the bench for Dallas. He has a nice stroke. Average to below average at everything else. Seems more like a guy that could be an impact player overseas. 15 pts, 3 assts, 2 rebs.

Curtis Jerrells is an NBA player even though he didnt play that good this game. Crazy 1st step and a decent shot. Wasnt looking for his shot, trying to prove he is a true PG, I guess. I like him. He reminds me of Mo Williams. 5 pts.

lmao Tony Durant, I dont

lmao Tony Durant, I dont even think he'll be decent in europe

..shows you how far a name can take you

And i've never been able to understand how 7 footers can go without getting rebounds..like, depending on who they'r going against, they dont even have to jump...BJ Mullens had a crapload of talent in HS, I dont get how that just dissapears..

BJ Mullens just has no

BJ Mullens just has no awareness, and loses focus and doesnt know where be to collect misses. He wasnt much of a rebounder in college either. But he does have good size so he may get it. But, I dont know whos idea it was to let Tony Durant on the team. Maybe Kevin threatened them and said he was going to leave if he didnt get a tryout. lol
