Knicks v. Kings

Knicks:

Toney Douglas is looking just OK this game. He cant shoot very good. He had a hard time with his timing in the pick and roll because Jason Thompson was smothering him every time he hedge it, making it hard for Douglas to find his rolling big man. Average passer. He can break you down off the bounce and get contact for the foul. He is a good defender though and he plays the passing lanes. He should be a backup PG, he doesnt seem like anything more to me. 18 pts, 6 rebs, 3 assts.

Now Jordan Hill is an enigma. He is a great physical talent, good size (even though he needs more strength), a very good frame he should fill out, and electric athleticism and quickness. He just has a low Bball IQ right now. One good thing though, he has more of a post arsenal than I thought. It includes turnarounds and spin moves. He will make a nice move and then pump fake, which gives the defense time to recover, gotta improve that. He also dunks the ball when he's by the rim and never lays it up, which is good. He would be a nice offensive player if he had a true mid-range. He is a great rebounder though, he plays mean when it comes to rebounds. Also a pretty tough defender. He has the potential to be a 15 10 guy, just needs to polish he offense. 8 pts, 12 rebs.

Morris Almond has a great jumper. Its real smooth looking. He just isnt very good at anything else. He is a bad ball handler, shoots when he should pass and vice versa, doesnt even try on D, and isnt more than average athletically. He did sneak and dunk on Jason Thompson and Casspi one time though. He could be a shooter off the bench in the NBA, but thats a best case scenario. 12 pts, 2 boards

Nikoloz Tskitishvili isnt an NBA player, why does he even try? Who keeps letting him on the court?! Ugh! He got all his points in garbage time. 12 pts, 4 rebs.

Saer Sene is still that same awkward guy with the never ending supply of arms. He just sucks though. He looks so bad running up and down the court lol. No skill whatsoever, he isnt a great shot blocker despite his length and size. He's very weak. John Brockman was giving him the business when they were crashing the boards and fighting for post positions. He has no business in the NBA. 2 pts, and a GRAND TOTAL OF O REBOUNDS. And he's 7'1! Horrible.

Kings

Let me start by saying this. I saw that John Bryant character everyone was talking about, and he is a joke. He did make a nice shot one time, but he is a joke. He has a bad body lol. He's fat and top heavy, has short arms and legs, and small feet. He isnt even an overseas player from what I saw. 6 pts, 2 rebs.

Tyreke Evans is a gifted slasher. He has cat-like body control and good strength. He also is a decent enough athlete for it not to hinder him. Great 1st step. It would be great if he could make a jumper past 15 feet though. If I had to guard him I would guard him how Kobe guards Dahntay Jones and Ronnie Brewer. He still is more of a 2 guard, but he is effective as a PG. He needs to cut down on the silly passes though. He is a long armed guy, and he gets steals by sticking his hands in the passing lane and making plays. He has a bright future, especially if he learns how to shoot. 18 pts, 4 assts.

John Brockman brings the noise. Impossible to move out the block. He has natural leverage which makes it easier for him to rebound. Manhandled the much more physically gifted Saer Sene. Isnt an offensive player, and a mid range game would make him a much better player without him being a huge liability. He's a hard working, tough guy with a role in the NBA. 2 pts, 15 REBS!

Jason Thompson has a nice offensive game. He is very fluid. Reminds me of Andrew Bynum. Good rebounder, and gets boards out of his area. Got backed down and muscled by Jordan Hill, but he did fight though. He has alot of tools and could develop into a 15 10 guy with more strength and experience. He has a bright future. 23 pts, 10 reb.

Donte Green is lazy as hell. He plays soft. Rather shoot perimeter jumpers than play close to the basket. He has to play better if he wants to keep playing in the NBA. He doesnt defend very good, but he will get some steals because he gambles and he has great physical tools. Is a mediocre rebounder because of his tools too. I dont think he is an NBA player right now, he has to get better and tougher. 5 pt, 4 reb

The Marquette guys Jerel McNeal and Wesley Matthews arent NBA players, they do hustle and are pesky though. Just dont have the offensive game they need.
