Pistons future

as a pistons fan i really think they should rebuild there not that many players away from being contenders i think they should get in lottery seems to be alot of great big man in this years draft if they go and i also think they should trade there old pieces tayshaun prince and rip and get someone whose contract end and picks this year and get like chris bosh with a lineup
of
stuckey/bynum
gordon/Wgreen/Stevenson
summers/daye/washington
Charlie V/jebreko
Bosh/Cole Aldrich
is a title contender written all over it

not in this league

Should of pulled the rondo deal, playoff time Ben Jordan is too small for the west, and to make things worst LBj kills the pistons and they have no one to guard him....better hope melo will sign later on as a free agent dropped the ball in 03

kidding me i hear all the time that dajuan summers has same body structure as LBJ so that means he can guard him and BTW stuckey would guard 2 guard but play point and gordon guard point

Super Detroit Fan

Wow, detroitbadboy2. You must be a huge Pistons fan. Just because two guys have the same "body structure" it doesn't mean that one guy can guard the other. Prince is their best defender by far and Lebron torches him, so what do you think is going to happen to a rookie?

yea

DaJuan Summers wont be able to guard LeBron this season, at least. He probably has never guarded anyone on that level before so asking him to would be an unfair assignment. And like the guy above said, Tayshaun Prince will guard LeBron, he is their best defender.

Detroit Fan but

Im a d town fan. but thi.s roster will get killed on defense. How do you think stuckey would do checking the elite 2's in the league. Kobe, Joe Johnson, Vince etc are all toooo big for him to guard. Thats why they kept Chauncey on them. Then Ben Struggles to check Pgs. And Even if Bosh Came he is not a center. he is a 4 all the way. Which means Vill or Tay would have to go. If tay goes Can Vill Really play the 3 for a season. On Offense the teams look perfect. On Defense they are going to get Bodied then Murdered.

I think Stoudmire would be better in Detroit then Bosh.

stuckey/bynum
gordon/Wgreen/Stevenson
summers/daye/washington
Charlie V/jebreko
Bosh/Cole Aldrich

You can forget about Bosh or

You can forget about Bosh or Amare ever coming to Detroit.

The Pistons need to find a way to trade Rip & Prince...I totally agree detroitbadboy
I say this because obviously Gordon replace Rip & a combination of Summers, Daye, & Jerebko replaces Prince

One great trade I thought of is: Pistons get: Boozer, Kirilenko, CJ Miles Jazz get: Rip, Prince This trade actually saves Utah cap space which would allow them easily resign Milsap.

This could be interesting: Pistons get: Courtney Lee, Sean Williams, Simmons (expiring contract), Rafer Alson
Nets get: Rip, Prince

One more trade possibility: Pistons get: Tyson Chandler, Julian Wright, Morris Peterson, Antonio Daniels
Hornets get: Rip, Prince

I think they would. They

I think they would. They would still have enough cap space next season to sign one of the good PFs like Bosh, Amare, or Boozer. That would make them a great team.

Franchise fell apart when

Franchise fell apart when Dumar believe Stuckey is going to be a star, which I highly doubt.

everyone hates on stuckey.

everyone hates on stuckey. he's not bad, he has put up good numbers for someone out of like a division 3 school. He will be good, and he has the ability to be a pg, he has had some highlight passes. And he can score, he had 40 and 38 within a week of eachother, and he is still young. i think in a year or two when gordon and charliev settle in he will be ready to lead, and the pistons should be title contenders if they get good draft picks.

I didn't say I hate him, I

I didn't say I hate him, I just don't think he can ever be a billups. Stuckey to me can be a solid pg like a 15ppg and 6apg pg.
