Is phoenix going to trade Shaq or Amare?
If Phonix ends up trading Shaq or Amare like they said they were going to last season, who are they going to trade them to. By the way, was it a mistake telling the media that they wanted to trade those two allstars?

I think that Amare is gone for sure, Shaq might be dealt if they decide that rebuilding is the best step.
Now givin that Steve Kerr is the GM i think they might just trade Shaq and Amare for Raef Lafrentz and what's in the mystery box.
There is an article in insidehoops.com about this. Phoenix would like to trade amare before he's elegible for a contract extension.. the article states that phoenix has no intention of re-signing him so they want to trade him this offseason. The best trade partner according to this article is washington who would have to offer jamison and haywood or songalia and atleast the #5 pick..
Your thoughts on this?
Are there enough shots in a game to satisfy Agent Zero and STAT? it would be a decent trade for both teams, wizards would be sick. Is jamison's contract multi years left or just one?
the suns have to get something in return for amare. they can keep shaq and just shed his contract at the end of the year. i think that they should just get picks for amare so they have cap room in 2010.
jamison has a huge multi year deal
this might be the last big contract he gets after this deal is over he might retire i dont think any team thats not in deep playoff contention including the suns would want him if the suns trade stat there rebuilding i think shaq said he was retiring this year i know he was intrested in gettin a espn job or nba tv job like webber and barkley if not his own show shaq is a character.
and no team is willing to touch amere because of his contract he will re sign somewhere else after the 1 year the knicks have a great chance to get stat this off season with a sign and trade of david lee and robinson or robinson and chris wilcox then sign amere to and extenstion reeling in other free agnets making new york a hotspot before 2010 and both the suns and knicks a benifit where they get 2 soild role players and starters in wilcox in nate and they wont have to draft another point this offseason making them able to draft another postion and the rebuilding process quiker ifthey take this route
Both teams are in the same situation. Both teams want to trade their star powerforwards, because they are not meshing well with the rest of the team. Chris Bosh would be better playing with Shaq because he is better on the perimeter than Amare. Amare would be better playing with Bargnani, because he is better inside than Bosh. Bargnani is better on the perimeter. Both teams could possibly improve by trading each other each other's headaches. Each team might be able to incorporate other player's that they do not like and if the trade turns out lopsided then they could throw in draft picks. They will have plenty of time before the draft to work it all out.
It really doesn't sound like there is much of a trade in the works for Shaq. Once again, it appears to be a salary dump. I haven't heard a single rumor that brings anything to the Suns.
the suns already drafted nate and traded his rights on draft day. im not sure i can see them taking him back. is he going to run the point? plus if its a sign and trade of david lee and nate you have to give both of them the huge money they are seeking or risk them walking and then you cant even make your trade.
Nate wasnt the player he is now. They didnt want to risk drafting a small scoring point not even 6 foot they didnt want a speedy claxton2. Nate coach is dantoni now and if the suns feel like putting there old offense back together nate a be a good fit.but i wont to see nate on the kicks but they are clearing cap space so this might not happen. I really dont see a team risking to take stat but the kincks to secure being a hot spot in 2010 in 2011 reeling in free agents because stat is alreay on board.I can see stat going to a team like the mavs who are making their last playofff runs or the brink of rebuilding or the spurs to shake things up and if dont work hey he comes off the books next summer. I see the knicks getting a high lottery pick in a strong draft thats somthing to look foward to
Thank you very much for this information.
