What do you think your teams off season should look like

Denver stayed put last off season thinking they had what it takes to return the WCF. but with this off season starting for them they need major moves

Current Depth Chart
C-Nene-Petro
F-Martin-Andersen-Allen
F-Anthony-Balkman
G-Afflalo-Smith
G-Billups-Lawson-Carter

Allen,Balkman,Carter and Andersen/Martin have to go

major needs
Defensive Stopper about 6'6-6'7 that can run the floor and defend PG,SG,SF
Candidates:
Ronnie Brewer-IMO perfect fit
Matt Barnes-Great Fit + 3's
Antione Wright- solid defender
Travis Outlaw- other 3 would start he wont b/c he's a true SF

Shooter to come in and knock down 3's consistenly when JR is offffff
Candidates:
Kyle Korver- he lite them up in the 1st round
Rasual Butler- about 40% for his career
Eddie House- but we have 3 PG's but if Carter isn't re-signed

3rd PG Billups is gettin old and just due to injury concerns
Candidates:
Steve Blake- I doubt he'd come back but he had a great stint with us and he knocks down 3's
Luke Ridnour- 3's and defense
Earl Watson- he may not comeback but he'd fit great

Solid true PF w/ offensive skills we have to get K-Mart's contract outta here though
Candidates:
David Lee- if we get K-Marts contract out of here then Lee would fit perfect wit Nene and Birdman
Jermaine O'Neal-(C) we slide Nene over to PF and now we have size to match up with LA
Brendan Haywood-(C) banger inside good for rebounds but he's a reserve and not a starter

I hope Karl is able to come back but if not then we need a tough minded coach I'm hoping Jeff Van Gundy comes back and we hire him if not then Byron Scott

Our only shot at an NBA title is this depth chart possibilty
(Choose One)-*=my choice
C-(Nene/O'Neal*)-Petro
F-(Lee/Nene*)-Andersen-(Allen/Haslem*)
F-Anthony-(Brewer/Korver*/Butler)
G-(Brewer*/Afflalo/Barnes)-Smith-(Afflalo*/Wright)
G-Billups-Lawson-(Blake*/Ridnour/Watson)
Coached By-Karl** or Van Gundy*

Utah

I hope boozer comes back but he wouldnt be my number one priorty. With a lotto pick to get another skilled big in either, Cousins, Davis, Whiteside, Aldrich, or my fav Monroe means Boozer could be let go since milsap is more than ready to be a starter and maybe a stud!! I feel like we need to make Matthews our undrafted diamond for a long time. He is a def minded player who can hit shots which Brewer never gave us. Also Korver needs to return. We as your nuggets know count on his shooting for lots of points. Also We need to shop Aks contract around. maybe for a Dalembert for AK and Koufus. Miles has proved he can help. Maybe not so consitantly. But maybe adding a SF like a Dorrell Wright to add present off bench. And then get a scorer in the 2nd round . A Lance Stephenson, or Dominique Jones, or a Sylven Landesberg to add more burst.

So a depth Chart.

DWill-Price-Gaines
Matthews-Korver-Landesberg
Miles-Wright-Jeffers(Or another rookie free agent gem next season)
Milsap-Monroe
Dalembert- Fesenko

you have all these potential

you have all these potential key free agents coming over when all you have to work with is probably a MLE. Then you act like KMart's 16.5 million is just gonna disapear.

In any case, my teams off season should include a parade, as long as that happens, im fine with whatever else they do.

Pacers

We have quite a few signifcant expiring contracts in Murphy, Dunleavy, Ford, and Foster. Out of those players, I think Ford has the greatest chance to be moved over the off-season. He hasn't worked out with the Pacers and Bird was very close to trading him and Brandon Rush to the Bobcats for DJ Augustine and a few other players at the trade deadline. We'd like to get back a young point guard for him and some help in the front court. I wouldn't be surprised if Bird tried to move him during the draft.

I think Bird will explore trades around the trade deadline for Murphy, Dunleavy and Foster. We'd like to get back a young player (or first round draft picks) who fits into our rebuilding plans. If we can't get that in a trade, then we'll just let our contracts expire. We are scheduled to be under the cap for the first time in over a decade next summer. We'll be major players in free-agency.

As of right now, we fans are just praying we land a top two pick in the upcoming draft.

Thunder

This isn't a great free agent Center class so I wouldn't mind them getting Brendan Haywood if he is not resigned by the Mavericks.David Lee was rumored to be picked up at the trade deadline but I don't think he would fit for the Thunder, statistically he helps but I don't know if his style of pla translates to the Thunder's style. I like Joel Przybilla a lot for the Thunder. Then they could experiment with the team and move Nenad back to his true position of PF and have Jeff Green battle with Nenad for the starting role or have Jeff Green take the Lamar Odom role to Kevin durant.
Then the pre-draft line-up would look like:
-PG: Russell Westbrook/ Eric Maynor
-SG: Thabo Sefolosha/ James Harden/ Kyle Weaver
-SF: Kevin Durant/ Jeff Green/ Thabo Sefolosha
-PF: Jeff Green or Nenad Krstic/ Serge Ibaka/ Nick Colison/ DJ White (NEEDS more P.T., he is very good!!!)
-C: Joel Przybilla/ Nenad Krstic/ Nick Collison/ Serge Ibaka/ Byron Mullens (hopefully he can contribute)

Then in the draft, they can explore depth at the SF and BPAs

jerb-it's doubtful przybilla

jerb-it's doubtful przybilla opts out of the last year on his deal, but i actually think david lee would be a great fit for the thunder because he could be an offensive pf while Ibaka develops as the defensive minded center. I think ibaka might be the center of the future, and for the thunder, they need another pf who can shoot and rebound.

Get rid of Samuel Dalembert

Get rid of Samuel Dalembert and/or Elton Brand. Preferably Sammy D. He sucks.

I want Philly to look to select Xavier Henry, Greg Monroe, John Wall or DeMarcus Cousins depending on where we pick.

I also think we should go after Sam Mitchell. Seems like the frenetic pace his team plays is the best recipe for success for the our athletic team

lakers

we need a point guard cuz derek is gonna retire or he should..farmar is not gonna be resigned cuz hes a bad fit for the triangle and brown is not really considered a point..that will open some cap space along with letting morrison go which hopefully will allow the lakers to go after a verteran point like luke ridnour (he provides shooting and defense which is basically all the lakers need in a point guard) for a reasonable 4/5 million a year or less because he'll be playing for a championship-caliber team..draft a scorer off the bench like aubrey coleman or sylven landesburg (43rd pick) for depth behind kobe and get desean butler with the 58th pick so he can recover and maybe contribute down the road and provide some scoring also...and hopefully trade luke walton and sasha (unlikely) to the wolves for someone like klove and a draft pick (again highly unlikely)...and signing some undrafted free agents for some depth might become a possibility since wes matthews worked out for the jazz..maybe a hustle big man like kenneth faried...

Current Roster

Derek/ Farmar
Kobe/ Shannon/ Sasha
Ron/ Luke/ Morrison
Pau/ Lamar/ Josh
Andrew/ DJ

Team after Off-season (hopefully)

Ridnour/ Shannon
Kobe/ (Aubrey/Slyven)/ Sasha
Ron/ Luke/ (desean butler)
Pau/ Lamar/ faried
Andrew/ DJ

The Bulls will only have the

The Bulls will only have the contracts of Rose, Hinrich, Deng, Noah, Taj, and James Johnson on the books. If they don't sign one of the top free agents next year is going to be bad.

They only have one draft pick as well and the Bucks will swap picks with them so it is will be the 18th pick I believe.

Wade, LeBron and Bosh do not seem to be headed here and I am not a big fan of Joe Johnson. He commands the ball a lot and I don't think that would mesh well with Rose.

I am one of the few people who sees what Kirk brings to the table. However, I don't like him as a starter. I mentioned this in a previous thread but I feel if the Bulls could convince Ray Allen to take a paycut, he would be a perfect fit with Rose. He isn't a ball handler and he still is one of the best shooters in the game. Hinrich then can be a great bench player to spell either Rose at the point or Allen at the 2.

I would also like to see the Bulls go after Boozer. He would be the inside post presence the Bulls have been lacking since Brand left. Plus, the Bulls seem to like Dookies....Brand, Deng, Duhon.

They can either draft a guy like Anderson for more scoring help or go big with someone like Sanders or gamble on Orton.

If they go with a big, I say resign Pargo on the cheap as a backup PG. If they go with a shooter, I say resign Warrick on the cheap. They also should sign Richard for next year.

A line up of either:

Rose/ Pargo
Allen/ Hinrich
Deng/ Johnson
Noah/ Taj/ Richard
Boozer/ Sanders or Orton

or

Rose/ Hinrich
Allen/ Anderson
Deng/ Johnson
Noah/ Warrick
Boozer/ Taj/ Richard

Then in 2011 they could get rid of Deng, Hinrich, and Allen and go after Carmelo. I am just dreaming here so play along.

Rose
Anderson
Carmelo
Noah
Boozer

That would be sick!!

the Jazz

It seems almost certain that Boozer's time with the Jazz is coming to an end. Why not replace boozer with a all-star in David Lee. Perfect Jerry Sloan player. Kirilenko and Okur will probably stay put for another year. Lotto pick gotta go size in Cole Aldrich or if we get lucky and get top 3 pick...get Evan Turner, but lets say Aldrich for now.

PG: D-Will, R. Price, Jon Scheyer
SG: Wesley Matthews, Kyle Korver
SF: Kirilenko, CJ Miles, Elijah Millsap
PF: Paul Millsap, Aldrich,
C: David Lee, Fesenko,
