Where I Want John Wall To Go

John Wall, without a doubt, is a future star in the NBA.. A number one prospect that could change a franchise's face by all means.. But questions are surrounding where could he be headed? Most teams with bad records already have solid-good point guards in their roster so John Wall could serve as an upgrade... Nets, Wizards, Warriors, Wolves? They got loads of players in the backcourt already... But in my own personal opinion, I wish and I really, really am hoping for the Indiana Pacers to win the lottery... I could think of a hundred reasons why they NEED not WANT Wall...

The Indiana Pacers have been struggling for the last few seasons and everyone knows that ever since Reggie Miller left the team, (even if JO was still there), Indiana would never be the same... True enough, the Pacers are dying in front of our eyes... I've seen the COnseco Fieldhouse being half-empty (or half-full) wherever which way you wanna see it... Even me personally, I see it dying slowly... Everytime I watch NBA Tv and the Pacers are playing, I would disgustingly switch channels because I couldn't bring myself to watch un-exciting players (with exception to Danny Granger) playing... No offense to the people of Indiana (tez0)... I'm not sold on guys like Brandon Rush, Roy Hibbert, Josh McRoberts or Troy Murphy suiting up. They don't have that "thing" that made me watch Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, the Atlanta Hawks and LeBron James every night. As talented as they are, they don't have that "must-see" kind of player that Reggie Miller used to be...

It looks like the odds have gotten slim now for them since they are projected to pick 10th. But I still remember when my Bulls beat the odds in 2008 and picked #1 which turns out to be Derrick Rose... (woooo!)  It is still tough luck because in the past 3 years of the draft, Indiana has gotten 10-13 in the lotto part which kinda sucks because you rarely find a gem in that range...

Why John Wall to Indiana? For those reasons above and most especially for their needs at PG... As much as TJ Ford is a solid PG, his injuries have been much annoying as his failure to produce consistently and solidly... John Wall could easily fill up their needs... Not to mention the tandem he could have with All-Star Danny Granger... That would be a good combo for them.. The marketability issue could be solved too. Like I said, they need a guy that can be must-see every night and they could have that in John Wall... The last would be...Imagine the Central Division in the East filled with superstars battling 4 times a year... Now that would be exciting... Cleveland with LeBron, Chicago with Derrick, Milwaukee with Jennings and if it could happen, Indiana with Wall...

It is a long shot, I know... But with the NBA Draft Lottery, anything's possible and I just wish and hope that the Pacers will have enough luck and faith to win it all against the odds... Pacers need this one to stay alive in the NBA...

Pacers

Agreed, I am virtually never compelled to watch the Pacers unless they are playing against my hometown Wizards because they are the least exciting team in the NBA. John Wall would undoubtedly solve those problems, especially from a marketability and "watchability" perspective. That is as long as Larry Bird doesn't take Gordon Hayward or Cole Aldrich with the first overall pick if the Pacers win the lottery... LOL

Nothing against John Wall who

Nothing against John Wall who will be a good player in the league. I just don't view him in the same light as Rose and Evans. I really see John Wall being an occasional all-star and a career starter. Rose and Evans are potential HOFs. That being said I have nothing against John Wall, I am just giving my 2 cents. Him going to the Pacers would be very good for that franchise.
