A couple big rumors this morning.
As reported from Yahoo! Sports:
Beasley out IF Wade in??
It was reported that if Wade decides to stay, Beasley will be shipped off. He is due to make like 5 million next year and the management doenst want to pay a guy to underachieve.
Phil Jackson will coach SOMEWHERE next year...
Supposedly, the Lakers dont want to pay Jackson 12 million to sit on the bench next year. Jackson says he isnt ready to retire so he will be coaching next year but the question is where??
What do you all think about these things??
Phil won't leave. He can't stand coaching elsewhere without a superstar like Kobe. He and LeBron can probably meet up somewhere which I REALLY doubt. Why do you think he didn't coach after Kobe kicked him out? He doesn't like to coach bad teams. Also, he's basically Kobe's b----. If Kobe tells him to stay, he will.
I thought Beasley would be shipped out this year for Amar'e or some kind of trade like that. With the Suns success, Amar'e was off the market. I think Beasley will not be traded and the Heat will give him another year. He could get stronger this offseason which is something he REALLY needs, he looks like Mikki Moore down there sometimes.
So if Wade leaves, will they still keep Beasley and pay him 5 mil to "underachieve"?
I doubt he's going to underachieve next year.. IMO
Wade leaving is probably 75/25 so he's most likely gone, that means Beasley will have to be the star for the team. Usually a 2nd Overall pick goes to a team that doesn't have a star player, Wade was down for a season and he cameback stronger than ever and Beasley never stood a chance to be the lead player.
Yes, thats what they are saying....
I heard Phil Jackson maybe to NY
If Phil Jackson isn't with the Lakers next year then Mark Cuban better give him a good offer
Phil Jackson in Dallas that would be a smart move for the Mavs.
Rick Carlisle was awful especially in Game 4 so far he hasn't proved to be a great coach.
As for Beasley I think it depend on if Dorrell Wright signs elsewhere but I think he'd stay if they got Amar'e b/c they would take alot of pressure of him and he'd be a 3rd maybe 4th option but if they did trade him it would be for a starting PG
Phil wont go to NY thats D'Antoni's team and they aren't fit to win for 2 more years if they make a big splash in free agency. he'll stay in LA but if not maybe Miami but I think Pat Riley might take over again
Phil wont go to NY thats D'Antoni's team
im just curious where these rumors came from, a source would be nice.
edit, never mind see the yahoosports part now.
