surprise surprise

Oklahoma is not going to play in the post season next year. They have a lack of true talent. The 2 touted incoming freshmen they have coming in are better served to be complimentary players, so don't get too overhyped about them. Plenty of team in the Big 12 will have a better lineup than them.
I'm not saying they will win the big 12, but finishing 5th or 6th isn't out of the question in my opinion. And i don't think they will get to the big dance, but they will get to the NIT, I'll bet cash on that
I feel like your biasness might...just might, be clouding your judgement on this one. Take a step back, let go of the rediculous man crush on the Oklahoma team, and look at it from a normal persons point of view...They dont have any talent! Use some common sense man.
Umm, Cameron Clark and T.J. Taylor, two of the top 70 recruits in the NATION. Tyler Neal, oklahoma's gatorade player of the year. Calvin Newell, 6' point guard with insane hops! C.J. Washington, incoming J.C. 1st TEAM ALL AMERICAN who averaged 19 and 13. Carl blair, transfer for new orleans who will only be a sophomore who averaged 9, 4, and 4 as a 6'2 200 pound freshman pg and had a triple double. and Nick Thompson, a jc transfer who gives us a true post threat along "FITZ"
You have the same point you always have. You have made this same topic for the last 3 days. Nobody feels like discussing the same things in depth about a team that returns none of its key contributors from last season,on a team that had 3 McDonald's All-Americans and had a losing record. Last year was the best chance for OU to be great, and they bombed miserably. Now you expect an even worse team to get to the NIT?
Last I checked Oklahoma plays in the Big 12, a very good basketball conference.
Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Missouri, and Texas A&M all going to be good.
I expect Texas and to do well as well as Texas Tech, that's 6 Big 12 teams I have slated to do better than Oklahoma.
I expect Colorado with Alec Burks to be the surprise team in the conference.
Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Iowa State to be worse than Oklahoma. So with that being said best case scenario for Oklahoma a 6th or 7th place finish, which knowing the selection committee could put them in the NIT, but they would get rocked in round 1. Similar to Seton Hall this year.
That's a best case scenario. I don't believe they will be NIT worthy, but only put them there b/c the selection committee is incredibly bias to Major conferences I don't put that stuff by them.
I think the NCAA tourny teams are going to be: Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Mizzou, and Texas.
The NIT teams will be Colorado, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
I very seriously doubt OU gets in the NIT or NCAA tourny. They have a lack of talent on their roster, and none of their newcomers are good enough to overcome the lack of talent.
Not that you've said anything smart so far, but here was a quote that put it over the top for me
"a 6' foot guard with insane hops"...
Are you hyping up the track and field team? Cuz if you are, then we've all been misinterpreting your posts...you are right, I think Oklahoma is a legit dark horse candidate in Track and Field...but every smart person, and even some not so smart people would say Oklahoma basketball is going to be down this year. It happens to every program.
But yeah that guy with the insane hops should put their track and field program over the top with his 100m hurdles and high jump, I've also heard buzz that he is going to give the triple jump a go and see...I think its a good move based on his insane hopping ability.
Lol im still laughing at you saying Nick Thompson giving you a post presence HE AVERAGED 8 POINTS A GAME!!!!!!!1 Casey Mitchell, and Jeremie Simmons both averaged over 28 and look where that got them, plus his offense is his strong point too which makes it even sadder, Their losing the heart of their team, and Cade Davis is the only player that stands out, every other player is a bench player/fringe starter there two top recruits are decent, but i think Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Missouri, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech make the tourney, while Oklahoma State, and Colorado, maybe make the NIT>
dude get off this site ur a damn joke like OU..next yr squads so much worse than this yrs and this yrs team made nopost season..bc there ass, just like they will be next yr, just like you are on this site..go on some h.s forum where ppl are as dumb and as bad as basketball as you..bc everyone here only answers u bc its entertaining to see what ur gonna say next..no other reason

For all my haters out there that don't like me because I always overhype OU and its players, we will actually compete next year.Following the end of the year, we only had four scholarship players (Cade Davis, Andrew "Fitz" Fitzgerald, Kyle Hardrick, and Steven Pledger). But we have added seven players, all of which are eligible to play next year. Incoming freshmen Tyler Neal, Cameron Clark, T.J. Taylor, and Calvin Newell, all of which are very talented, and transfers Carl Blair, Nick Thompson, and C.J. Washington. And they still have two scholarships they can use. I will bet ANYONE that they at least make it to the NIT, if the the Big Dance
