I say this because in this mock draft they have Knicks picking up Lance and some center from Florida st who is cool but I see Tiny Gallon as being a lottery pick if he was to stay another. The Knicks need to draft well and could get to solid young pieces if they do this. Gallon will be a tough inside guy and Stephenson could be a Tyreke lite

I have Stephenson going to

I have Stephenson going to NY in my mock.

Gallon does not need to go to the Knicks though. Not at all a good fit. I think Jarvis Varnado is the PF they should go after.

Sheltwon, I have always

Sheltwon, I have always noticed your posts are positive towards the knicks. Do you happen to be a Knicks fan?? I would definitely draft Lance Stephenson if available, but I would not draft Gallon, I have question marks around his character. Though I don't think Lance will be available to the Knicks I would like to see the Knicks draft McCamey (if he stays) and Terrico White (if he stays) I want the knicks to get a new back court.

Shouldn't the Knicks try to

Shouldn't the Knicks try to stop getting players with bad attitudes or that don't work hard(Harrington,Crawford,Curry). If I were them I'd stay away from any of the above mentioned players.

On Jamal Crawford, he has

On Jamal Crawford, he has found his role with the Hawks, and I would say he is both, so I don't understand your point.

If Demetri McCamey is not on

If Demetri McCamey is not on the board- They could take both and I have no problem.

I would rather take players who won't cause problems but talent is talent

McCamey would need the ball

McCamey would need the ball and Lance would need the ball, if Lance could learn how to play off the ball in the NBA he would be a much more effective player.

My point is the Knicks

My point is the Knicks always seem to get players with bad attitudes or that seem to shoot to much. They really need to change there image and get team players and good guys. Drafting Stephenson,Gallon, or Sidney wouldn't help their image or team IMO.

I agree with you. I think

I agree with you. I think Stephenson has matured, Gallon is someone the Knicks do not need, and Sidney I think is staying at Miss St.

Stephenson still has holes

Stephenson still has holes on his game and it's not sure whether he has the footspeed to defend on NBA two guards. Concerning Gallon, he will have to play power forward and the Knicks needs above all a real tall center who can block shots a la Alabi or Varnardo.

im a die hardknicks fan. i

im a die hardknicks fan. i try and get to atleast 5 games every year! however i live in ct, thats why i cant go to more. but i think we should take stephenson no matter what. and i consider myself to be a realist, and there are a few things that stephenson brings to the table

1) brings alot of hype and noise
2) potentially a great player
3) a winner, hates to lose
4) future go to guy

i do know there are some minor disadvantages w/ him, but the knicks werent going to make any noise in this years draft, so i say go all out and go for him.

take

stephenson and varnardo. and if the knicks bring mcgrady back then mcgrady can mentor stephenson into becoming a solid sf or sg in the nba.

I know he's matured but I

I know he's matured but I don't like the idea of him going back to NY he said himself that he needed to get away.

WTF are we talkin about

WTF are we talkin about here. We do realize the Knicks dont have a 1st round pick, right? Talkin about Stephenson like he's gonna be the steal of the draft... in the 2nd round.
Like, real talk, being drafted in the 2nd rd means you've got a 10% chance of playing more than an avg of 20 min. a game..

This aint college. The knicks can get Stephenson, Gallon, Eric Barkley, Omar Cooke, Lenny Cooke...geez. Were talkin 2nd rounders here, man. CMON SON Its annoying to talk about guys who were IT in HS and 2 quick years later they are marginal nba players at best.

You wouldnt make a thread on Keith Bogans, would you?

I love Lance Stephenson's

I love Lance Stephenson's game, but I could see him being taken in the late first and within the top 5 of the 2nd. Also, for his sake I don't want him in New York because as someone said before me he left to mature. Now I would love for him to sign with the Knicks in the prime of his career, that would be sweet.

WTF you talking about

WTF you talking about s2jepeka? Stephenson,Gallon, and Sidney were all 5* recruits, its not like they don't have talent, and there only 19. They have all the upside in the world. Talking about them like there Keith Bogans is stupid.
