Keith ''Tiny'' Gallon

This kid is probably going to wind up entering the 2010 nba draft because his college eligibility is in serious jeopardy, so where does everyone see him getting drafted? I know he has his issues but he WILL get drafted, most likely mid to late second round, he is 6'9 290, he averaged 10 and 8 as a freshman in the nation's toughest conference and he has too much talent for someone not to gamble on him

I think that's bold to say

I think that's bold to say he will get drafted, but if he does get drafted you have him in the right place. I do believe that whoever signs him will get someone good, but may not contribute until his 3rd year in the league.

I think it's much more

I think it's much more likely he goes undrafted than it is he gets picked. He's definitely a talent, but needed more time in college. He's very similar to Jackie Butler, who although talented and big like Gallon, left for the NBA too early and never found a true NBA home because of it.

Iggy, Jackie Butler. I

Iggy, Jackie Butler. I remember him with the Knicks he showed some flashes of skill when he got to play every so often. I wonder where he is at now a days.

Yea Butler was a good talent

Yea Butler was a good talent offensively for his size. I used to like him when he played for the Spurs and Knicks. He just didn't defend or stay in shape. Too bad for him..

I don't know where he plays, but I doubt it's in the US of A.

Don't know too much about

Don't know too much about Gallon, but I also don't see him getting drafted. And honestly if he does declare, i am gonna have a hard time fitting him in my mock. It is already full and I don't who to take out if Gallon declares. But even if he does declare, all will depend on workouts. No team may like an unpolished talent that Gallon seems to be. We will see what happens then. For now he is not in my draft, and I don't plan on putting him in their either.

Before I even looked at this

Before I even looked at this thread, I knew it was started by ol catoosa. Do you watch anything but OU basketball?

I think your guarantee about

I think your guarantee about Tiny getting drafted is about the same as your guarantee that OU would make the tournament. He could get picked up in the late 2nd, but he really needs to improve in a lot of areas before he can honestly be considered to play minutes in an NBA game. He still has the potential label on his side, but I'd be shocked if he was taken before 50 especially because of his lack of athletic ability.

knicksfan7, You wouldnt make

knicksfan7,
You wouldnt make a very good gm, sir.

Jackie Butler had 'flashes'? Really? Its the nba, everyone is capable of having 'flashes'. NBDL players are on the Warriors averaging 15ppg.

Its all about how efficiently you can score and what ELSE you can do. Tiny Gallon is nowhere near the category of 'too talented not to get drafted' LMAO @ that statement.

s2jepeka, Never planned on

s2jepeka,

Never planned on being a GM, sir.

Of course everyone shows flashes, but some guys never get the chance it's as simple as that.
