Forget the Lottery..Draft Time comes who do you pick and why...This Thread is to End all Threads
seeing that any of those 3 teams you mentioned can sign him and leave you with nothing...And Boozer wouldnt be as appreciated as he would in Sac town or Utah...He has a chance to be the leader of that team...That makes him an all star for sure even in the west...thats where Boozer should go if he wants the money and the power...So are you saying yes or do I have to move along....
MDymes Im the Jersey GM and offer
Trade offer D. Harris,T.Williams and Cousins for Jefferson, Rubio and your pick Derrick Favors
works out for us both...
And I think Booz will like having another all star teammate in Tyreke Evans. So we accept the offer.
Jazz offer Booz, Koufus and the 8th pick to the Kings for Thompson, Nocioni and the 5th pick.
Deal?

The fifth pick yours...you guys vote on who you want They're up after T'Wolves ...just waiting for MDymes response to trade offer...
1.GSW.Wall
2. Was.Turner
3.NJ.Cousins
4.MIN-?
5.UTH?
6.Det?
7. PHI?
8.SAC?
Nice doing business with you Kings. Once mdymes decides on the offer, we intend to select Wes Johnson.
Ps my internet connection is a little slow, so you might be getting a delayed response or late posts.
We got a real starting Power forward in tough Conf. You get the starting 2 guard you need and two role players that will fit in perfect with your team...once MDymes realizes that I was trying to make that team better and he still lost out on Turner he'll wish he was the Kings or Jazz GM...I'm not trying to play god...I'm just being a fair negotiator for whatever team I'm representing...So good job and dont give up on the thread yet...still plenty of teams out there to take control of/.....pass this along....
No I just don't want to give up on Rubio when all I get back is Cousins (a rookie who looks alot like Big Al) while I give up Big Al as well and lose a guy I wanted in Favors. I like Harris but not that much.
No I just don't want to give up on Rubio when all I get back is Cousins (a rookie who looks alot like Big Al) while I give up Big Al as well and lose a guy I wanted in Favors. I like Harris but not that much. Essentially I am giving up the 4th overall pick for Harris and Terrence Williams. And I don't even know how long Harris would want to stay in Minny.

Al Jefferson is a proven guy who I can get a player back who is not in the same mold as him (which Cousins is)
Rubio has the potential to be the guy this franchise should build itself around and basically I'd give that up for Harris (ill take my chances)
And then I'll take Favors over Terrence Williams.
Mdymes I feel your pain but I offered you 3 starters in this league for one guy you dont want(AL) and one guy you dont have(Rubio) the kicker is if you made that deal I would ask the Wolves to draft Favors...I'd ask for Aminu and be done with it...Favors would still be on the board and you still have 3 picks and K.Love or any others to trade for Favors...SMH...You'd fill all your needs by parting ways to Rubio and Big Al...Your line up after trade Harris.T Will. Brewer. Love.Cousins. Flynn(6th man) draft picks and players to get Favors ...Repeat SMH
Nice with that trade
Jazz have new lineup of
Deron, Matthews, Kirilenko, Thompson, Okur as a starter
and Millsap, Nocioni, Miles, Johnson, Price, Gaines, Fesenko, as bench
that seems like a good line up as we can still trade Kirilenko's expiring contract for more talent and bring johnson slowly as a future starter at 3 and miles coming off the bench to provide scoring and Nocioni and Millsap to come off the bench to bring energy toughness and they are very talented as well we just need a backup PG if we are not sold on Price
and Thompson is an exciting player and a low post threat and is taller then boozer
Yes Future Jazz lineup of 2010-2011 season
Memo
Thompson
Johnson(our 5th pick)
Matthews
Dwill
bench
Miles(for Matthews)
Millsap(for Thompson)
Nocioni(from KIngs for Johnson)
Price(for Dwill)
Fez(for Okur)
Korver
Gaines
Jeffers
55th pick
Scarecrow, I still don't see this team getting much better with that lineup as opposed to what we could be once Rubio comes over. Not to mention I think we could get more than that for all those assets we would be losing. Cousins has some maturity issues and Jefferson is still young and damn near a 20-10 player.
Would and should start Wes at shooting guard day one..Millsap is their PF of the future and Thompson will replace Okur..Nocioni becomes your 6th man and other guys just play their part....
Yes but AK is as good as gone with his injuries. We can trade him along with Korver for whoever teams offer, or we can just not resign both of them. Both AK and Korver are not really needed anymore.
Scarecrow,
I like Thompson better then Millsap. Both me and cpoint want a bigger PF then Booz or Millsap starting. So we decide to start Thompson as well as Johnson, and let AK and Korver go, or trade them to whomever wants them.
They will start Wesley from day 1 and knowing Sloan he won't start Wesley Johnson from day 1 (he didn't start Deron til middle of his rookie year)
And he could start either Thompson or Millsap as a starter it won't matter but if Okur is healthy he will be starting til his contract is up.
Also Kirilenko will start at SF and unless he is hurt I can't see him coming off the bench for a Rookie Wesley Johnson he might play more but chances are Sloan won't start Wesley Johnson but he'll be a big part of rotation.
Nocioni and Matthews will be his favorite guaranteed Nocioni &$#%#&@! off, people tough as hell, and can shoot
Question...why is Rubio in europe? Answer...he will not play for T'wolves(this year, next year..never) No one is going to offer you more than scraps for him see what NY has been throwing your way..Chandler and Jeffries at one point...Your GM asked for the earth ,moon and stars and found out that his best asset wasnt worth the mop top haircut he got in Spain. NJ wants Wall bad..In my draft they dont have the pick and their offer is as strong as it gets...3 starters for the one you wanted gone mid season and the draft pick that will never suit up for your team...Myth busted. Rubio doesnt average that much in Europe....But Nj would still take him Big AL to play the Four and free agent Perimeter player(???)
Like I said cpoint. AK will get injured again in 2010-2011 season and for the rest of his career. So when he does, Sloan has no choice but to insert Johnson into the starting lineup and have Nocioni come off the bench for Johnson. Like I said AK is as good as gone with his injuries. And Korver can walk, his services are no longer needed with Miles and Nocioni playing great, and shooting very well for backups.
I can offer both first rounders this year and our next years first rounder for your 8th pick. Keep in mind the fact that you have only 5 players signed for next year, 4 of them are your starters and you have no sf signed for next year or any good bench players...lots of solid sfs available in the 20s as well as roll players to beef up your bench and keep your payroll at a minimum.
This offers stands for any team while Aldrich is still on the board. Also trading Kristic's 5.5 mil expiring contract, B.J. Mullens and our 32nd pick can be discussed as well. Durant Harden Green Westbrook Ibaka as untouchable.
Rubio went back to Europe because he was bought out of his DKV (whatever team originally had him) by it think what was Real Madrid. They paid a ransom for him and we will be able to get his services in 2011. He was ready to come over, but neither of us could afford the buyout. I am confident Rubio will come to the Wolves and so is Kahn. Therefore, Kahn will not be giving Rubio up for just above-avg. starters and role players. He'll either keep Rubio or hope for better offers to come which very well may happen given how weak this draft is at PG.
Kings have 8th pick fastdan. Not OKC or the Clippers. This is going by the order listed at the beginning of the thread, not the order listed on this site.
The kings traded the 5th pick(Wes Johnson), Thompson, Nocioni to the Jazz for the 8th pick, Booz, and Koufus.
well honestly we can't really say that he is as good as gone yet we gotta assume he is healthy
and when he is healthy he can still produce at a high level
like now against the nuggets we are really missing him on the defensive end
