What are the chances Wesley Johnson falls to #8? It seems like both he and aminu will be there at #5 and if the wizards take aminu then wesley will slip to 8 most likely. I doubt detroit or philly take a SF so he would slip past them to #8 miraculously. What are the chances?

Depends

I think it depends on his individual workouts, I think if he has a good workout he can go as high as 3 if he has a subpar workout he can fall to 8 or maybe lower.

He could

I think he'd fall if people were worried about his age and the fact he can't create his own shot. That or he has problems adjusting to man to man defence in workouts (because of a few years playing the zone) and he gets a reputation as a bad defender.

He may show that he can do

He may show that he can do more than what he was doing at Syracuse and despite his age, his mix of athleticism, long arms and outside shooting is something that could convince a team in search of a efficient scorer (see Washington, Minnesota)

A lot of young talent is

A lot of young talent is coming out and Paul Pierce and Caron Butler fell to 10 so it is possible. If younger guys do well and move up he could fall down. i still think he will be a good player though.

This is

This is a good post. Johnson has been overrated by this site all season. He's a lottery lock for sure but there are 6 or 7 prospects that have more upside that scouts will look at. NBA personnel will ask "is this guy a future multiple-time all star, or just a really good contributor?" And the GMs that have a brain will say "No, he's just a good contributor"
