Magic vs Cavs
I think it is probably safe to say that these teams will meet up in the ECF. With a completely healthy Cavs roster going against a completely healthy Magic roster who would you pick to win?In how many games? Why? How?
could go either way. I have said all season that orlando was better, but now im not so sure. I was watching on espn today where they said the problem the cavs still have is that when things start to go rough they rely too much on watching james. If that is the case, then it could be trouble vs the magic because orlando shares the ball as well as any team in the league. If that series does happen which i think it will, it should be amazing to watch.
I would say Cavs in 6 or 7, probably seven...
If it comes to a game 6 or 7 I know the cavs will win...they have the best player bar none on the court and a bunch of shooters to keep the D honest...I want to see the Magic TRY to play James 1 on 1 in that type of situation...With the players the Cavs have this year around James no team can successfully double him...that leaves Matt barnes to LeBron...good luck to him
Superman vs superman would be intersting to see although we all know dwight would kill shaq now, shaq is gonna bring his A game and wont want to get abused.
The fun starts tommorow
3:00....i am going to sleep real late tonite so when I wake up I wont be going crazy waiting for the game to start.
I taught last year they would win too, but I am more confident this year they make it to the chip series.
Lebron is more determined than ever to win a chip, they have and have never had anyone that could do anything with him
averaged over 35 in that series.
They don't have Hedo to run the pick and roll and hit Lewis for 3 or throw the lop to Howard. This killed the cavs .
They don't have to double Howard this year Shaq is old and slow but he is string enough to put a body on Howard
and has been playing mind games with him all year.
The Cavs have another player on the court that can get you buckets in Jamison when Bron is not on the floor or when he passes out.
Moon and Jamison can cover Lewis on the outside and close out on 3's.
They added another (parker) 3 point treat on the floor to help space the floor for Bron.
Matt Barnes will be in some kind of fight or altercation before these play off are over.
I have seen him amped in almost all the Magic games I have seen this year.
Yup...^ I say 1 tech in game one...one dirty foul to LeBron...and a crap load of trash talking.....He looks for trouble out there on the court....
Also, you made a good point on the mind games...I think Shaq intimidates Howard slightly... And he gets into Howards head
Cleveland's success will fall directly on their supporting cast. During last year's series with Orlando, Mo Williams and Delonte West were just missing shot after shot. I can understand missing some of the tough ones, but you gotta knock those open ones down. Ilgauskas might be able to open up some driving lanes for LeBron if he can consistently knock down shots from the outside.
I'll go with the Cavs. A determined LeBron means an almost unbeatable team.
