Thunder vs. Lakers

I know that this will probably get my points knocked down but I think the Thunder have a chance to beat the Lakers. I know that the Lakers are defending champs and all but they are also injured. Kobe is extremely busted up while I think Bynum is not 100%. This is my opinion so don't completely beat me up for this.

well i oughtta...... nah,

well i oughtta......

nah, that is a very reaosnable prediction. Durant is dangerous and RW will treat fisher like a speed bump. The lakers have really been inconsistent from the perimiter all year, so anything is possible. I just think the lakers size and toughness will get them through. and i hope taking these last couple games off helps kobe, because you know he will be as motivated as ever to get that 5th. SHould be a great series.

This is probably the most

This is probably the most exciting #1 seed vs #8 seed in a long time

I think the Lakers are gonna win the series pretty easily, but its not impossible for the Thunders to produce the upset, but a couple of things have to go right

-Thabo has to play excellent defense, I mean, he always does, but hes gotta take it 1 notch up
-Russel Westbrook has to step up like never before...
-Kevin Durant has to play like Kevin Durant
-And what I think is most important, is the thunder bigman are going to have to step up
Green, Krstic*, Collison, Ibaka, there going to have to slow down Bynum, Gasol, and Odom

But like I said, its not impossible, and im rooting for the upset, Go Thunder

I think OKC has a huge

I think OKC has a huge weight lifted off thier shoulders with the Bynum injury. I'm starting to lean towards OKC a bit because everything works thier way except experience and coaching

- Bench
- Starters

I could see Kevin Durant dropping 30-35 a game for 7 games and leading OKC to round 2.

experience and talent on Lakers side

I think the games will be close but the series will not go past 6 Lakers advance.
The will play with lots of intensity in that first round match up.
Not impossible for the Thunder to win but unlikely IMO.
Yes Westbrook will kill Fisher but Brown can match his speed and athleticism.
Tabo will play good D on Kobe but he will still average 25 on them
Ron will be able to play physical on KD, and they don't have an answer for Pau and Bynum is coming back
for the first round.
Lamar who matches up with him off the bench.
The Lakers lack of depth may catch up to them but not in this round with such a young team like the Thunder
in their first playoff series.
This is the playoffs it's is a different ball game now more physical less run and gun more thinking and strategy.
I don't see OKC winning, again anything can happen but I won't bet on it.

Artest is going to struggle

Artest is going to struggle with Durant. Like mentioned before, Rus will have his way with Fisher one on one. It will be interesting to see how the lakers scheme. Pau Gasol will have a huge series.

Another key factor is James

Another key factor is James Harden. IMO he can be a good scorer so if he lights up I wouldn't be suprised if he's a big factor inthis series.

I think if Ron Artest is Ron

I think if Ron Artest is Ron Artest of old then the Lakers win easily. With the size of the Lakers it will be hard for the Thunder to win if Durant is shut down. Should be a good match up though. A lot of this series will be won on defensive match ups like Thabo on Kobe, and Westbrook and Fisher.

Thunder

If Kobe struggles like he has recently, than the Thunder have a chance. They need to get a big series from Durant.
