can u imagine
tyreke and wall in the same backcourt?!
i honestly think it would work becuz wall aint a selfish player
yes i can... and i get a boner every time i think about it...
ahhahahahhaha funny lol. i think the kings will get the 1st pick
Even if they choose not to take Wall, Imagine this lineup if they dn't get #1
That's still a nasty good combination.
Kings are going to be a good team the next decade. Completely different view from the team in the early 2000's, That team was monster down low with Vlade Divac which was a tremendous passer and Chris Webber who is a taller better Carl Landry... Now it's a guard oriented team in a guard oriented league.
2 ball dominate guards...good luck with that =\
Hahah Tyreke is a good passer.
Plus there are many teams that have 2 ball dominant guards
Last year's Chi-Town Bulls
The difference with those is that they are all veterans who understood their role and all had the ability to play off the ball and make spot up shots...the same cannot be said for Evans and Wall/Turner....
But they are able to learn to play off ball... There's no better time to learn than your rookie year.
I think Kings will do better drafting where they are right now and taking a big man. Beno and Tyreke are good together and they should not be expensive to keep. Kings need to get Green and that other rookie to develop and move Nocioni and they can have a solid top 8.
and even Evans and Turner don't have enough shooting to be able to work, which all your examples do. On top of that, your list has some flaws:
John Salmons, Derrick Rose - Salmons played small forward last year and while he's a slasher who needs the ball to, you know, slash, I wouldn't go as far as to call him a ball dominant player.
Jameer Nelson, Vince Carter - Same deal, Carter isn't really ball dominant. I'm not sure if you really understand what ball dominant means.
Aaron Brooks, Kevin Martin - And this is the worst one. Martin isn't ball dominant. He makes a living moving off the ball and finding gaps.
Billups, J.R. Smith - Not ball dominant
Andre Miller, Brandon Roy - They haven't worked all that well, so kind of a moot point.
I think Sacramento will try hard to come out of the draft with Cousins. He just fits everything they've been looking for. He's a big, tough guy who's skills compliments Thompson's rather then duplicating them (Hawes). He might be a little crazy, but who cares when he fits so well.
the Kings win with Wall, Turner, or Cousins....and Favors I'd even be happy with really if I were them....
