Consensus Top Ten Players

I want to see what the forums think are the top ten players in the draft this year. Not necessarily the first ten player to go, the players that you think are the ten "best" - including potential, talent, strength, athleticism... whatever you want just your top ten players in the order that you rank them. Imagine you are giving them a score out of 100 based on these criteria and whatever others you want to use (similar to how they rate players on this site) and rank them. Let's see what the consensus top ten players are on these boards. I will put mine first.

1. John Wall
2. Evan Turner
3. DeMarcus Cousins
4. Derrick Favors
5. Wesley Johnson
6. Greg Monroe (assuming he declares)
7. Al-Farouq Aminu
8. Xavier Henry
9. Cole Aldrich
10. Donatas Motiejunas

Motiejunas was dominant last

Motiejunas was dominant last year against this year best bigmen at Hoop Summit and plays this year in the very tough Italian league averaging 10pts and 5rbds while Brandon Jennings averaged only 5pts there. He's a top ten prospect for sure.
Wall, Turner, Johnson, Motiejunas, Favors, Cousins, Aminu, Aldrich, Whiteside and Monroe.

So far...

Ok so far with just assigning points based on where they are ranked (1 ----> 10 points, 2 ----> 9 points, etc) the consensus is:

1. John Wall - 60 points
2. Evan Turner - 51 points
3. Wesley Johnson - 42 points
4. Derrick Favors - 41 points
5. DeMarcus Cousins - 40 points
6. Xavier Henry - 21 points
7. Greg Monroe - 20 points
8. Al-Farouq Aminu - 17 points
9. Donatas Motiejunas - 13 points
10. Ed Davis - 8 points

This is only a sample size of 6 people though so keep them coming in.

defense

he is a horrible defender....that is the main reason....it is painful for it to come out of my mouth as a lifelong fan of Syracuse but I just think he is overrated.....he would be like 12 or 13 on my list....but whoever picks him over Cousins or Favors is making a naughty.....

I can't imagine him going

I can't imagine him going higher than either Cousins or Favors.

I didn't really get a chance to look at him defensively since Syracuse plays zone. A lot of people on here criticized his defense earlier in the season too.

man to man

its not something you want to watch without a paper bag in your hand.....him and the backline of Syracuse's zone was like soulmates.....

Lol that's pretty bad then.

Lol that's pretty bad then. I ran into him at the Pacers vs Heat game during the Final Four and there's no way he can defend the post in the NBA. He's too skinny... Even skinnier than I thought.

luck

Wes Johnson will be luckier than hell if he gets drafted by the Warriors b/c they will be the only team who tolerates his lack of defense.....I promise.....
