Could Kentucky be on the verge of a Monster recruiting haul?

About every 3-4 years, there's always one school that could potentially bring in 2-4 monster recruits.. Could UK do it?

Kentucky already has Enes Kanter and Stacey Poole.

Brandon Knight
Josh Selby
Terrance Jones
CJ Leslie
Doron Lamb

Out of these 5...how many do you see going to Kentucky? I say 4. I believe Jones, Knight, Leslie and Lamb all go to Kentucky.

Come on Knicksboy, Kentucky

Come on Knicksboy, Kentucky did this this past season with Wall, Bledsoe, Cousins, and Orton. They are doing it again this year. Calipari is going to do this every year he coaches in a major basketball conference. You only wrote 5 guys, not 6.

I gotta ask. Everytime I

I gotta ask. Everytime I post something...Why you gotta hate? I just brought it up....

First off...Calipari doesn't do it EVERY YEAR....so freeze on that knicksfan7

Unlike last year, Calipari had Cousins and Wall in his hands when he was at Memphis. He only lose Henry. Cousins was there when Gillespie was there. Bledsoe had the option of Kentucky, Duke and mid majors....This is Cal's first real recruiting class at UK.......Do your homework

Not hating, just expect more

Not hating, just expect more to be said. No I know, what you're saying it is Cal's first real recruiting class, but I expect this to happen every year. Get the best college basketball players who if it weren't for the one and done rule would enter out of high school. I am soon going to start calling Kentucky the NBA's 31st franchise because it is turning into that, just watch.

I could see brandon knight

I could see brandon knight go to kentucky to take some of the hype left over from john wall. Also if john wll actually liked his experience like he said he did he might have told cj leslie about it and he then comes to kentucky. Don't know about any of the other guys and why they might go but with kanter knight and leslie they would be a top 25 team again.

I could see Cal in 2011

I could see Cal in 2011 landing Gilchrist, Teague, a top power forward, and try getting Austin Rivers (though I doubt Rivers goes to Kentucky) but rather get the 2nd best 2 guard instead.

I heard last night that

I heard last night that Knight is leaning strong towards Kentucky.

Just a note on Knight: Alot of people cooled on him. Some people said he might need 2-3 years to truly be the superstar they thought he was. GM's, Scouts and insiders are now saying he would best go to Kentucky and learn from Coach Cal

Since Cal's offense is sooo

Since Cal's offense is sooo great for guard play I won't be shocked if we'll see some busts through the system or guys entering too early. I haven't seen Brandon Knight, so I am not saying he will be a bust, but eventually a guard that goes one and done will be a bust under coach Cal.

Yup

I see 2 for sure...Knight, Leslie. I am not sure if Selby would want to play wit Knight. And I could see some chemistry issues between the two. As a Portland guy, I really hope Jones stays at at UO or UW. But I wouldn't be suprised to see him go Kentucky either. And from what I've heard...Lamb is most likely going to WVU. Correct me if im wrong there.

Knight And Leslie

Knight and Leslie are locks to Kentucky right now, says every source ever. Im a bit of a recruiting junkie keep in mind.

Lamb has kept things really close to the chest. WVU has alot of buzz with him right now, but I wouldn't sleep on Kentucky or Kansas. Truly don't know.

Selby is a strong Kansas Lean and I don't see what would change that. If he goes anywhere other than Kansas I would be very surprised.

Jones is a bit of a mixed bag as well, But I dont see him starting at Kentucky over Leslie or Kanter, and they have strong depth at small forward too, so he wouldn't see that many minutes right off the bat IMO. Its possible, but largely depends on Who Oregon hires, who Kentucky Gets, and if North Carolina offers from what I hear with Jones.

Wait

How on earth would Jones not get that many minutes? First off, he is better than Leslie. Secondly, he could always start at pf for them. Or sf for that matter.

hmm

I doubt all the top prospects will head to the same team year after year. As good as Callipari is, I just can't see guys probably giving up a chance to show off what they have just to play with guys they know from their AAU days.
