I'm asking for opinions on this.

Varnado?
Vasquez?
Chism?
Warren?
Brackins?
Crawford?

I think it'll be between

I think it'll be between Willie Warren, Lance Stephenson, or Craig Brackins.

lol are we certain they will

lol are we certain they will fall that far. If they are first round talents a good work out and it would appear so will make them in the first round. Some people will drop from now til the draft. I put it like this you can do 2nd round steals maybe after the columbine because we will know heights and other stuff that could make or break a players position.

LANCE

he could be a big bust but he is a LOTTERY talent....not just a 1st round talent....I guess the same for Warren but there is no question that Lance has an NBA body and can score for sure....he just has to get his sh*t together....

Too early

Would anyone have picked Thornton or Blair as steals last year?

If Warren falls it should be him, because I don't think Stephenson is athletic enough to have a big enough impact on a team to be considered a steal. But if you're thinking general expectations against what they could do at best, I'd say Landesburg could surprise some people, especially in the right situation (New Orleans would be a good place for him).

Luke

Harangody, The difference between he and Tyler Hansbrough is that Gody has an " up and under move" to get around shot blockers. He doesnt rely on getting to the line. And he has a stronger drive to the basket .So if Hans. went at 13 last year Gody is a steal at say 45.

it would be Warren with no

it would be Warren with no doubt offcourse..but i don't believe he will fall there especially when Grizzlies have 3 or 4 first round picks..

so my pick would be Renardo Sidney if he declares if not then Lance Stephenson

Crawford

Jordan Crawford is definetly the biggest sleeper in the draft. I am a huge Xavier fan, but I still believe that Crawford has what it takes to be a star in the NBA. He is a well developed scorer and a team is gonna get a sleeper in the second round

Top 2nd round steal

JON SCHEYER

1. Who led their team to the national title? Scheyer
2. Which point guard had the best A/TO ratio of any top point guard ? Scheyer (Vasquez winning the Cousy award is the biggest joke of the year)
3. Who had 6 assists against one of the best group of defensive guards (Butler)? Scheyer
4.Who scorched West Virginia for 23 points(the team that beat the overrated UK)? Scheyer
5. Who was the leading scorer on the national champs? Scheyer
6. For those who saw the Final Four , how could anyone question Scheyer's quickness ,strength, and overall athletic ability e.g. Butler's Willie Veasley(who has the best foot speed and vertical leap on Butler) had a breakaway layup but Scheyer ran him down and blocked his shot.
7. Which guard had 3 blocks in the national title game? Scheyer
I rest my case.

SCHEYER Duke played 2 road

SCHEYER

Duke played 2 road games of the 3 games they won to win the national title. No one mentions that they beat Baylor in Houston with a dome stadium filled with Baylor fans, and beat Butler in a dome stadium with 70,000 screaming fans 95% who were Butler fans (Butler is 5 miles from where the title game was played).

Scheyer has the mental toughness to be a starter in the NBA as well as the tools. He only lacks Melanin.
