Is Shaun Livingston officially back? I waited to see if he could put up more than one game of great numbers and he is now having another great game against the Celtics.
What position does Terrence Williams play? because right now he looks like a bonafide star and very versatile. I can now say that New Jersey has 3 talent young pieces with star potential and now with this coming draft and cap space they really only need to fill up two spots and get bench help.
Are people sleeping on Amir Johnson? He has put up some nice number in Bosh's absence more than just a few times and he is young and a free agent. I doubt he stays in Toronto. His is still kinda unknown so he could be a young talent that thrive like Blatche with more consistent minutes.
Shouldn't Josh Childress come back this coming year and remind us that he is still good because if he does not do it soon he may not get the chance with the way things are going with the CBA and with this Free agent period being something that will have most team tied up for the next 4 or 5 years.
Why couldn't Indiana play like this earlier in the year? Granger has been playing like a beast and everyone seems to be clicking. It would be interesting if they get the first pick because point guard is still a need for them since they dont like playing Ford and Watson is a back up.
Gallo is looking better than Dirk at year 2 than Dirk's year 2. How many people out there is eating shoes for putting their foot in their mouth about Gallo.
I really hope Livingston is back, although I agree that he won't ever be the same.
T-Will plays the 2 or 3, although he wants to be more of a Point-Forward which he played at Louisville
Never heard of him honestly lol
I want him to come back. As long as he still has the fro
Granger was injured early in the year...I would know (He's on my fantasy team). If they get the 1st pick and don't get Wall, I'll shoot myself.
I doubt we'll ever have an international player as good as Dirk honestly, but I do think Gallo is looking better than a lot of people thought he would be.
The Pacers always come on strong when its too late, miss the playoffs, and get a crappy draft pick. We fans are sick of it.
I'm guessing you're a Purdue fan too lol...I used to be a Pacers fan too and Granger is one of my favorites. If they get Wall they'll be my 2nd favorite team (Next to the Thunder)
he can play 3 positions for sure.....maybe he can even play the 4 if they wanna go small.....he was for sure the most versatile player in last years draft....
how high do you think the ceilin is for Twill if he matures up and he plays to his potentional.....
he needs to improve his jumper and become slightly more of a scorer in general....he's already an awesome playmaker and defender.....especially if they get Wall....that's one of the reasons they should take Turner.....they need some scoring on that team....
sheltwon, i respect you man, but i think you are striking out on this one big time.
1-livingston, nothing really to say about that
2-TWill, i have been watching him all year. He looks good, but "bona fide star", what player are you watching?
3-people have been talking about amir johnson breaking out for like 3-4 years now. At this point, the only person sleeping on amir is amir. He is what he is.
4-you are making childress into a bigger role player then he is. Childrees is a very solid nba player worth aproximately 5 million. Europe offered him more. In all honesty thats all there is to it. Childress isnt scared of comp, and he isnt worth any more money today then he was when he left. A nba role player getting paid like a star in europe is what is.
5-really not sure what your point here is. You ask why indiana didnt play like this all year, and then immedeitely answer it yourself by saying injuries.
6-i dont think gallo looks as good as dirk in year 2. Dirk always had this finesse game about him where he was like a 7 foot sg who could get his shot off. Galo runs like he has a broken back, He is not nearly as smooth as dirk.
I don't think T-Will is a "bonafide star".....but he is a great piece to have....if the Nets are going to be good I can see him playing a similar role as Jeff Green does for the Thunder....
it was called random thoughts to spark conversation.
I believe T Will be and All Star. I have seen him play once in person and a few times on tv. He is very versatile, athletic, and I dont see why people dont see his potential like they see Tyreke Evans who is getting more minutes. T Will may be a better passer at this point than Evans. They both have trouble shooting. T Will is the better defender. This is his first year and he has shown signs of how dominating he can be as a triple double threat. The question about Amir came up because this year he is a free agent. He may be able to go to a system that can utilize his strengths more often, I would not give him a big contract but still i am pretty sure as a solid big man he should have some interests.
Childress if he had stayed in the NBA could have played himself into a good contract this year because you have teams with money who may not get the guy the want. Not saying he would get a max contract but getting 6 or 7 million in the states would be good for him. I think he is better than he was able to show in Atlanta and most player actually get better from playing overseas if they have not had much play time in the states. New Jersey could sign Childress for like 6 million and have a starter at the 2 position to pair with T Will and since they probably will not get the first pick, they can draft favors at the 2 or 3 spot.
New Jersey if they are smart could use some money and save for the following year free agent class when Melo could be had like I hope the Knicks will do. Livingston may never be the player we thought he could be but right now he is starting and getting big minutes and scoring and getting assists while helping Wizards win. He has even shown that he can get some power dunks off as well.
Livingston hurt his knee early and with his body still potentially growing at the time in a few years he may be mostly him because with rest you can pretty much heal from some injuries like that when you are young.
LilPerez I am a basketball fan and I am also not afraid to put myself on a limb, in time we will see if my Random thoughts were accurate and also something Gm's have been wondering.
Washington could do something stupid and let Livingston go and to me Livingston is at that point where he is back without any setback and should be a legit NBA player even if he never regains everything. He would be a great pick up for many teams.
Livingston is back, and playing relatively well, and now he has a decent jumper, but he's never going to be as good as I thought he'd be, and was beginning to become.
What position does Terrence Williams play?---He's like Andre Iguodala 2.0 IMO. He's flashy and he can play PG-SF easily. Nice passing ability and he can score from mid-range and he's got alot of perimeter defending ability. Not a star, but a good 3rd option at his best. Not quite a true scorer, similar to Iguodala. He's too unselfish to be considered a scorer.
Are people sleeping on Amir Johnson? - I went to the Hawks game last night and he's very long and tall, but he'snot more than a middling rotational player. He can't really create for himself and plays very upright, which makes his basketball moves stiff. Only way he scores is off of catch and finish plays or as a trailor in transition. He also has a low basketball IQ and isn't a very good defender (other than blocking shots).
Childress knows he's a role player in the NBA. He's a jack-of-all-trades master of none in the NBA. If he wants alot of money and benefits he should stay in Europe.
I'm sure John Wall is their #1 hope. Dahntay Jones tailed off and Granger's injuries have hurt them. They don't have a very deep roster either.
I have always liked Gallinari's offensive ability and he's a willing defender at least, which most of the Knicks can't claim to be. I said before the season in a bold prediction that he'd be the 1st option this year. I was wrong (lol), but I do think he can be a legit scoring in the NBA. A high scoring 2nd option at least. He has big offensive potential. Can score at all 3 levels.

Dirk is better but they are close to each other in progress and second year. Dirk only played 40 something game his first year and I think Gallo may have played that much or less and each pretty much doubled their scoring and most of their stats from one year to the next. The thing is Dirk got more consistent minutes and played with Nash a better point guard than Gallo has yet to have.
