Sorry dude, he's a good mid to late 1st round pick to me but I wouldn't take him in the lotto
Fair enough, but he reminds me so much of Tayshaun Prince. Offensively he is a project but he is an NBA player right now. Great defender, great passer, plays with energy.
Offensively he is pretty much a dunker and a three point shooter right now, but teams in the mid-late lottery will regret passing on him.
Motiejunas....a little overrated
Some drafts I seen he's more 10-15 then 3-7 on this site. I think he might drop a bit. He's not a good defender and his rebounding is good but I don't believe he will be a 7 rpg guy at the NBA
With Vesely- I think he could be good but I don't believe he will be a really good player. Many people will have him as a lotto pick but I'm telling you: I don't believe he will be a top 10 player coming out of this draft
I don't have as good of a grasp on Motie as I do Vesely. I have seen him make some promising plays though, and I think he has an uncanny amount of potential. Not as much of a sure thing (to me anyway) as Vesely is.
I see him being drafted in the same area as Vesely, 10-15.
Vesely to me is a Prince/Jerebko/Battier type. Combo forward with remarkable intangibles.
Motie to me is a Bargnani/Ilyasova type. Athletic/mobile post player with an offensive arsenal.
Jan Vesely is a lottery quality pick. I am just not sure if the GMs are smart enough to take him.
One key point is that Vesely's euro team contract is till like 2013 or something like that. Although, he can probably still somehow negiotiate a buyout (as his agent said he wants to go NBA as soon as he can).
I think the contract issue would be his only set back.
I think he's a better overall player than Motiejunas. I wouldn't mind taking him in the top 10.
I also like Paul George, so when I saw him going to 14th now, I think it's more fair ranking.
I don't like Devin Ebanks as much for the time being. He got potential and talent though, but at this point, he's 15~25.
I really like this dude too from what I've seen.....I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out better than Dontas.....so he averaged 4 ppg this year....and Brandon Jennings averaged 5 in Europe last year....sorry bout the people who let that factor into their decision in this years draft....
He averaged 8.4 points per game on 57% percent shooting in about 21 minutes a game. He's only 19 and the season isn't over.

Vesely only seems to be underrated on this site. CollegeHoopsUpdate has him at 9, Draftexpress has him at 10, MyNBADraft has him at 10, Hoopshype at 11, and Chad Ford has him at 11 as well.
Man ,I really like the Tayshaun Prince comparison I think/hope he will be as good as him,his buy out can be problem but hope not,as for Motiejunas as I said b4 I read that he will stay one more year as he has to buy his contract if he wanted to leave while so may be we will have one more year to watch him in the Eurocup
Jan Vesely is the most intriguing prospect I've seen in years. I've said it a few times on here but he is without a doubt the most athletic and best running 7 footer I've ever seen. It doesn't look natural at times given his size and his body control. This guy is going to be a great all around player in the NBA and I have the utmost confidence in him. He could stand to bulk up a bit as long as it doesnt hinder his athleticism, but regardless he is gonna be a guy who fills up the box score. Points, Boards, Assists, Blocks, Steals, 3s, gettin 2 the line, he's gonna do it all. He's a energy type guy who can bring that type of force to a team for 30+ minutes and should have a starter role early in his career in the NBA. I agree wit money, favorite prospect in the draft by leaps and bounds.
