Butler will be having a little bit of trouble at these predraft workouts with a torn ACL, just a heads up shylo.
my bad i need to change that... i posted that comment a while back before the injury when he was looking like a potential lotto pick to me
The day Jan Vesely falls to 21, is the day I throw a ninja star into a pool of grape juice.
Ebanks is no Rudy Gay. They are pretty similarly physically, but Gay's offensive game was still much more developed than Ebanks' is when he left UConn, and he's much more fluid and still more athletic. I also have to disagree on Stanley Robinson. He relies on his athleticism to score most of the time, sure, but he's developed a very dependable jumper over his four years at UConn and has real range. He's good off the dribble and he's always moving. I think his offensive game is actually pretty mature.
That said, a lot of good picks. I like Patterson to the Pacers; they need another athletic big. Monroe also makes a ton of sense going to Milwaukee (he prob won't last that long though), as a solid big man to play alongside Bogut might be all that's preventing this team from making a finals run in the next few years. Utah definitely could use Henry's length, athleticism and stroke at the 2, and I wouldn't be shocked if the Heat gambled on Bradley. I think Chicago will look for an impact scorer to fill the void left by Gordon and then Salmons, so James Anderson of course is a good pick. I think if Alabi's does well in workouts, Atlanta's definitely where he's headed; Horford, while a great young talent, is only 6-10, and their backup is Zaza Pachulia. Not saying he would start over Horford, just would add some size on the front line.
I agree Ebanks isnt gay......... Butler was the one making out with Huggins.
Wow I hate when people make fun of Butler and Huggins for that. Just put yourself in one of their places and consider all the things that had happened and the consequences of his injury with all he's been through. It's not a bad thing to have a little sensitivity
The jazz already have a SG in Wes Matthews, and he is great. plays great defense can shoot well, and Sloan loves him. Henry would cause yet another string of players at the SG. (Matthews, Miles, Korver, and now Henry, that's a lot of guys with so little time to give, this is why we dealt Brewer, to give more minutes to Matthews and Miles, guys who have potential and could really be something. More so Matthews because he's younger) What the Jazz need is a SF. Johnson would be great but they will probably have to settle for Aminu.
@UK wildcat, no one ever said that Ebanks was gay. They were just comparing him to Rudy Gay. ( there really is no comparison) Birdzilla was just making a joke with Rudy's last name, and Butler is very close to Coach Huggins. I don't agree with Birdzilla either, but you gotta realize that he was just making a joke, don't take it seriously.
Honestly dwilljazz8 I can see ya'll taking a 4 for insurance if Booz leaves
