Jordan Crawford's NBADRAFT.net Comparisons

I don't feel that Jordan Crawford comparisons are ideal. Bob Sura was a scoring point for one who couldn't score. Terry Teagle only had one good season in the NBA where he averaged 16 points and 4 rebs but Crawford is a guy that willl have many great seasons. And ideal comparison would be guys like J.R. Smith or Jason Terry who have the green light to shoot and can really get hot and make the crowds go wild. They're both also really athletic. Terry being underrated athletically and so is Crawford. What do you think?

evryone is feeling Crawford now huh

I think he will be a good scorer in a bench compo guard type.
Jason Terry is a good comparison but I don't think he will be as potent of a scorer.
I liked the kid as a NBA prospect since he was playing with Eric Gordan at Indian.
He is still raw and need to learn to play a team game.
I think he should come back and learn that next year. But I could see a team taking him in the late 1st to early second round based on what he did in the tourney.

Hell yea, next to John Wall

Hell yea, next to John Wall and Evan Turner he is my favorite prospect. Not in terms of their ability or potential, just guys who I like. Hyping him up to be JR Smith or Jason Terry may be too much too soon (but I have done it too) but I do feel that potential is there. The way he played v. KSU and PITT was phenomenal. That 3 point shot to keep them in the game was unreal. When you got range like that people are gonna start talking. He's unconscious.

I could see Crawford being a

I could see Crawford being a Flip Murray type of player on the offensive end. He is an undersized 2 with not the greatest vision or handle. He also is not overly quick or fast, but he is smooth with his game and finds a way to get to the spot on the floor he wants to be. If he gets in near the painted area he is good at finishing with either hand fairly well. His jumpshot will also help him out a lot in the league. I think he will put forth a little more effort on the defensive end than Flip as well (even though that isn't saying much at all).

Jordan Crawford= A Flip

Jordan Crawford= A Flip Murray type player. One dimensional scorer. He's no J.R. Smith, believe me.

Yeah

The hype for him is a little out of control, but it always happens after someone has a big tournament. I think his best case is a Murray type, as he's not a freak athlete, doesn't have the tightest handles or the prettiest shot, doesn't project as a good defender and hasn't shown he can play a team game yet. BUT I'll admit I like his tenacity and he should find a place in the NBA somewhere.
