Brad Stevens signs extension

Well, Brad Stevens has signed an extension through 2021-22, looks like he'll be staying a while. Told everyone who actually thought he would go elsewhere he would not.

You think these contracts mean anything? You think if Stevens gets offers a high end job in a BCS school like UConn or Georgia Tech or UCLA- You think he's gonna say, I have to value my contract? NO...he will leave.

i dont know, mark few has turned down a lot of high profile schools to stay at gonzaga. But the number of years dont really mean anything if he decides he wants to leave.

Gonzaga and Butler are very

Gonzaga and Butler are very different.

Gonzaga has more recruit pull then Butler not to mention....Gonzaga has some NBA pull

Well, for one thing Brad Stevens is an extremely loyal guy. So much for you saying he would go to Oregon. I do think he will one day be coaching at a higher profile such as an Indiana or Notre Dame, I don't see him leaving the state of Indiana. Also, Butler is going to surpass Gonzaga in a few years they are going to get top recruits and will start having NBA players, Gordon Hayward is the start.

Stevens is a low key kind of guy. Butler fits him and his family... For now.
