Pacers vs Heat, Final Four, Indianapolis, John Wall, Evan Turner, Wesley Johnson, Cole Aldrich and Scottie Reynolds

Indianapolis has been crazy since Thursday with the Final Four being here. The dunk and three-point championships were on Thursday at the Convention Center. That dude from Northern Iowa who hit the big shot vs Kansas... He didn't win it, but his jumper is MONEY. Downtown is jumping lol. Athletes and celebrities just walking around everywhere. I had to write about my observations.

- First... Scottie Reynolds... I've ran into him like three times. He's little. I seriously doubt he's even 5' 11". So is Chris Kramer from Purdue. I'd give him 6 foot... On a good day.

- Second... Pacers vs Heat.

D. Wade is amazing. He scored 43 points and single handedly domintated the Pacers. It was my first time ever seeing him play in person and the first thing I noticed was... He's HUGE. Now I understand why he's able to take contact and finish. He ate Brandon Rush alive and left Granger shaking after he hit him with a hesitation move combined with the step back three in over time. Not to mention... Wade had a dunk that was just NASTY. He gets into the lane whenever he wants. It's crazy.

Michael Beasley COULD be a good player, but the Heat are in his head. They have him second guessing himself and everything he does out there. His confidence is shaken. The first thing I noticed about him is that he really does have a legit NBA body. He's really solid. Long arms. He has very good feet. He has just lost confidence. He looks confused out there. I see the talent in him though. He could be a 20 point scorer if given the green light.

- Bill Self, John Wall, Evan Turner, Wesley Johnson and Cole Aldrich were at the game.

- Self... I was with some people who got to chill with him at half-time and he's the most laid back coach I've ever seen. Looks completely different in person than he does on tv. There were quite a few players from Kansas here, but I didn't see Collins.

- John Wall... No way is he 6' 4". I'll give him 6' 2.5" and he's skinny. He's probably the same height as Derrick Rose, except he doesn't have a grown man body like Rose.

- Evan Turner... A legit 6' 7" with good size. There's something about him I like. He walks with a confidence about himself that's hard to ignore in a ball player.

- Wesley Johnson... SKINNY. He'd better work on his handles because there's absolutely no way on the planet he can play power forward in the NBA. I see him getting pushed around in the NBA. He's that skinny. He's a tweener.

- Cole Aldrich... Just big. Tall, long, good size... And he doesn't walk stiff. He's not the smoothest I've seen, but he definitely looks more comfortable in his body than Greg Oden did.

Damn Tezo with the ill

Damn Tezo with the ill scouting report. Dude you have to read the thread that was started about John Wall failing and Drug Test as well as the latest John Bryant thread.

On John Wall 6'2.5" with shoes on???

LOL on Scottie Reynolds and Chris Kramer, Kramer looks more suited for safety in the NFL than on the basketball court. I heard Kramer did play football in high school.

I like Aldrich, and I think he will be a good player.

I expected Wall to be taller

I expected Wall to be taller and bigger... I mean, I knew he was skinny, but not this skinny. He needs to get in the weight room. He's not that tall either. I'd be very surprised if he measured a real 6' 4". I mean, when I walked past him I was like, "What?"

Kramer is stocky and short. He definitely looks more like a defensive back. I saw him at the three point and dunk Championships. I saw Reynolds for the first time there too. I was shocked at how short he was.

I like Aldrich too. I think he'll be a center that'll give a team defense and rebounding for a decade. I really like to observe players, like how they move and how fluid they are. One thing I never liked about Greg Oden was that he didn't move very fluid. Aldrich is very smooth looking to be how tall he is. He looks really comfortable in his body. And he's a really nice dude too. Very humble and respectful. So was Wesley Johnson.

Yeah Aldrich and Wes Johnson

Yeah Aldrich and Wes Johnson I expect that from them for there on court demeanor's, so it does surprise me in anyway. I could see Wall measuring out to 6'3" just my feeling. I think he is better at playing the PG than Evans, but not Rose and has a better jumper than Rose, but not Evans. I see Wall with the most complete game of the 3, but doesn't do anything significantly better than the two, btw check you email.

And the fans here (even

And the fans here (even non-fans who just love to jump on the bandwagon) are really supporting Butler. They got a huge standing ovation at the end of their practice this afternoon. There was a real comfortable feel to their practice. I didn't sense any tenseness. All of the players were loose, which has something to do with the homecourt advantage. I think they'll come out ready to play vs Michigan State. They're not going to be in awe of the moment.

I liked West Virginia's practice. Huggins means business. Devin Ebanks is so long and athletic that some team will fall in love him come workout time and forget the fact that he can't play basketball.

Wesley Johnson never did

Wesley Johnson never did look that big to me, but I don't think that he has the frame to add much more muscle. I agree with you about his handles; they need a lot of work if he wants to be a threat in the NBA.

Tezo, not for nothin', but how tall are you?

OJJ, Tezo is a 6'5" SG with a sick spot up J, I mean what else do you expect from someone that is from Indiana. Every year 200,000 kids from the state of Indiana get executed for there inability to hit a wide open jump shot.

I remember reading about that. Kids in Indiana also get executed when they don't set a pick or pass properly.

I guess somebody didn't like that I said Wall isn't 6' 4" lol. I'm being serious though. No way is he's 6' 4". He's maybe a little taller than Derrick Rose and Rose only measured 6' 2.5" with shoes.

Seriously though... John is a coo little dude. He used to beg to play with us at the YMCA when he was in like 6th grade. He held his own a little too. He could always dribble and shoot.

I like the points u made

I like the points u made that John Wall isnt 6'4 lol...people are terrible when it comes to the points on this site...someone stole my points one time because I said something about Kentucky getting good prospects. End of my rant...But I must ask...was Aldrich actaully a nice guy? I remember when he was in HS and in the AAU circuit he was an absolute A to the hole!! Cocky as hell and jsut a flat out jerk. Its good to hear that he may have matured over the years.

I hate it when athletes act

I hate it when athletes act like jerks. I know that not every single one of them are gonna be nice, but there's no reason to be rude to someone you don't even know, especially when so many people look up to you. I don't know if any of you guys know about the man I'm about to mention, but I played ball with James "Speedy" Williams over the winter, and he's one of the nicest, albeit loudest (LOL) people I've ever met. I wish all athletes were like him.

I agree...I dont know why

I agree...I dont know why people have to be jerks either...Its weird..."good job, your a D1 basketball player and you scored on me, cool, I'm 6'4" I just dont get where the need to trash talk comes from. I'm all for talking to guys, but mroe of a conversing type talking, not trash talking. No point...mostly just immature and annoying.

I'm

OrangeJuiceJones is very good at finding funny videos, but I'm more impressed with his ability to ruin any topic by changing the subject to something totally irrelevant, and then spewing nonsense all over everyone's computer monitors.

I agree^. Rose's jumper has come along way this year. He is starting to knock down the 15 footer with confidence now.

I think he meant at this

I think he meant at this stage in Rose's career. I mean I'm sure Rose could take him to school right now cuz he's been in the NBA for 2 years.

Did you talk to John Wall?
