Not really sure where to start, the whole thing is bad IMO.
Wizards: Why would they want another big men that doesn't play inside, Blatche plays outside and doesn't like to bang, I think Cousins would be the better option.
Kings: Why Bledsoe? I think the Kings like Evans as their PG, someone like Wesley Johnson would fit perfect with Evans
Indiana: Xavier is exactly like Brandon Rush, both can shoot the three, I think PF or PG is a better option, Donatas or Patterson could go here, or Bledsoe.
Milwaukee: Donatas is exactly like Ilysova, why would they draft someone just like who they have. SG or SF is there need, maybe James Anderson or Ebanks here.
wow very interesting and different than typical mock there..
so..Whiteside and Bledsoe already taken with Henry Aminu Wes still in the green room?hmm..
also i don't like an idea of Cousins as just 3rd big..
But i really really like Warren in top20 and especially in Chicago he would show there why he was so good non-1st option scorer, he would be 10+ppg scorer from day one i believe.
delfam, you draft the best available talent. Who is to say that donatas won't be much better than elyasova. same with xavier, if he is the best player left you take him.
not when your in need of that position and the talent is just as equal. If Xavier is still left then he is equally as good as Donatas talent wise but fills a need more.
Same with Indiana, Xavier and Donatas are close to equally talented, but Donatas fills a need(PF) that Xavier doesn't necessary( with having Rush, who also shoots 3's).
This is just my opinion, first glance with my pool of players. Im not using any other mock drafts or anything.
Wizards: Blatche has played very well for about 25 games, but 2 things jump out to me. 1) He has already been suspended for attitude and 2) he hasn't done it long enough for a good team. Blatche is the focal point of the offense right now but when Gilbery gets back, what happens to Blatche? Does he accept not being the number 1 guy? I don't know. Monroe is a good player that is unselfish, plus he has good character(which i think the Wizards will value after this horrible season). Plus I think Monroe can score in the post and rebound well enough. And on top of all that, Blatche is a tweener in my opinion and more of an off the bench spark.
Kings: I think the Kings are happy with Reke as the PG on offense. On D you are going to need a quicker, more athletic guard like Bledsoe. Bledsoe can play off the ball on offense too. And he gives them an element that they dont have right now which is a one man fast break. Wes Johnson would fit here but they already have some younger guys who play close to the same position.
Indiana: Xavier is kind of like Brandon Rush in my opinion but a definate upgrade. This guy can flat out score, and that is something this team doesn't have, a legit second option to help Danny Granger get his too. Donatas is a project and Patterson has a chance to be good but Indy already has good, they need talent, and Xavier is a talented scorer.
Milwaukee: This team needs alot, but Motiejunas and Ilyasova may play similar but everyone knows Ilyasova is already at his best. Motiejunas gives them a bigger more talented version of Ilyasova. He has the chance to be great and James Anderson in my mind is a younger John Salmons, that doesn't sound special to me. Ebanks could be intriguing but they already drafted a athletic do it all guy from West Virginia, and he didnt work out(I know that they are different players and Ebanks in my mind is more talented than Joe Alexander) I say go with Donatus because he is good value at this pick.
i dont seee jordan crawford comin out of he is gonna be a 2nd round pick, goin into next season he has to much goin for him after the K st game to just settle for being a second round pick..also desean butler will be a 1st round pick..like he said he may not do one thing great but he does everythin good,,and he did it all yr in the toughest conference and in the tourny i just dont see a good team late in the first round pass on him
In my opinion the sixers will take wes johnson if he still is available. They don't need another big man, they're pretty solid with what they have down low in the paint.
Dalembert is in the last year of his contract is probably going to get traded so a Center is a need, but Whiteside might be to high for them.
