who are ur top 10 fav. players?

hey guys, new to this site and was just wondering your top 10 favorite players of all time and why!? (they can be nba, college highschool, ex nba, etc)

mine are:

1) pistol pete - hes my dads fav. player, so when i was first getting into bball at the age of 10 my dad showed me/told me about him!
2) ray allen - even though i hate the celts, i love ray allen. classy guy, one of the nicest jumpshots ever.
3)steve nash - has my name! hah but i love everything about his game
4)tim hardaway - all i need to say is i wish i had his crossover!
5)stephen curry - love his heart for the game and has one of the nicest jumper too!
6)carmelo anthony- saw him live against the knicks. he was incredible to watch!
7)allen iverson- just always loved his game as well
8) josh selby- (HS player) i think hes gonna be GREAT! plus he dominates higschool, and his moves are ridiculous!
9) jason williams- (on kings) he always made the coolest passes!
10) Kwasi gyambibi (walked on to Uconn) - haha i play ball with this guy, and he is incredible. one of the best players ive ever played with! truly amazing, and even though he didnt get to play much w/ uconn its cause he had to backup all players who are now in the NBA!

1. Jordan--I am from Chicago

1. Jordan--I am from Chicago and got to watch the best there ever was play all the time

2.Kenny Anderson--My favorite college basketball player ever.

3.Rodman--The most entertaining player to watch. Was all business on the court.

4.Ronnie Fields--In my opinion, the best high school dunker ever..youtube him...even KG said so.

5.Barkley--Another guy that was just fun to watch. 6'6 at best, and overpowered everyone

6.Deron Williams (at Illinois)---One of the best teams ever and that Arizona game..he went off

7.Pippen-- I feel he is still underrated...unbelievable defender...would love to see him in his prime guard LeBron right now.

8.Q-Richardson (at DePaul)--used to go to all the games...he was a beast in college..6'4 and averaged over 10reb a game.

9. Stacey Augmon--Plastic Man was my favorite player on my all-time favorite college team---the 1990 UNLV Runnin Rebels...that team was insane!

10. Derrick Rose---I am a homer, what can I say....I love to watch him play and see him evolve.

Iverson and the old T-Mac are close to cracking this list

the glove was funny and he

the glove was funny and he was one of the best defensive pg's ever. He was truly great and a prime glove would be giving guys the business today and talking louder then anyone as well.

But you guys have to give Nick the Quick some love as well. He took every big shot and loved playing in pressure situations his whole career.

the good old days

When I was in like 8th grade I went to see an all-star game in Chicago and some dude conceeded the final round of the dunk contest to Ronnie Fields...still easily the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen in my lifetime.....

Haven't even thought about

Haven't even thought about this in a while. Here you go:

1. Tim Hardaway - He had the killer crossover plus he hated the Knicks. And he was a little chubby and still burned everyone.

2. Sam Cassell - I never quite could explain this one. He just had impossible swag before that term became overused.

3. Tim Duncan - I love fundamentals. They're fun! And mental!

4. Charles Barkley - The coolest person ever. No, really.

5. Penny Hardaway - Great nickname, great player, great person.

6. Manu Ginobili - I love that people hate him. I love that people underrate him. I love that he flops.

7. Shawn Kemp - Remember when he was the most exciting player the NBA had ever seen?

8. Gilbert Arenas - See: Kemp, Shawn. Those three years of his "prime," he was my favorite player in the league to watch.

9. Michael Jordan - He should be on everyone's list. Really.

10. Nick Van Exel - Has there ever been a player who trash talked simply by his style of play? He just embarrassed people.

Honorable mention: Larry Johnson (if only he wasn't a Knick), Gary Payton, Drew Neitzel (I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN!)

1. Rodman, hence the display picture, he was one of a kind and the first of many

2. Chris Andersen - Bird is the word baby

3. Charles Barkely - the round mound of rebound had an attitude to match his size

4. Latrell Sprewell - just love his style

5. Pistol Pete - had the biggest influence on the game pre- jordan, i dont care about kareem, more people wanna play like pete than abdul

6. Patrick Ewing - most exciting center ive seen

7. Mutumbo- do i need to explain?

8. Steve Nash - Best point guard ever tied with magic, sure maybe every point in the L can beat him atheltically and one on one, but steve nash is the best at running the team and being the traditonal point guard- kidd is a close second

9. AI, he got me into basketball

10. Andrew Bogut- First aussie to do significant damage in the L (maybe honourable mention to luc longley), gotta love my fellow country man

9. AI- Im from Philly and he was my idol growing up. Not one of my favorites after he left but I will always like him after what he did for the city.
10. Kobe- used to hate the guy, i mean absolutely hate him about 4 years ago. But then after he changed his game and I got to see more of him as a person, I respected him more and he became one of my favorites.

I'd put MJ on here but I didn't get to see him much since I was younger. I'm sure if I did he would def. be on my list though. Magic's on here though cuz I've watched his highlights plenty of times of the years and after seeing how he went about his biz, he had to be #1.

1. Marcus Camby: undervalued

1. Marcus Camby: undervalued player everywhere he goes. All-defensive player. Great teammate. Great in the community

2. Reggie Miller: Love to hate him. Killed us so many times but i have to respect his poise and clutch skills.

3. Allen Iverson: The only one reason I ever watched the sixers play.... Could single handedly make a game exciting. Does anyone remember the all-star game where he and Marbury led the east back from a big deficit in the 4th. That was a great game.

4. Larry Johnson: all-time great potential before the back injury. Took the stacked Duke team on pretty much by himself at UNLV. Hit the biggest Knicks shot of all time.

5. Shaq: Dominant player. Great person. Tons of personality.

6. Anthony Mason: He was my favorite player when I was young. The definition of toughness. fierce competitor.

7. Derek Fisher: A winner. Not ever the most talented but always a gritty player who helped his team win. He is also very generous.

8. Jay Williams: favorite college player of all time. Led Duke to titles. Seems like a classy guy. The motorcycle accident was a shame.

9. Baron Davis: If it werent for injuries... Great leader. Has carried his teams on his back at points... until his knees gave out from all the weight.

10. Keith Simmons: went to my highschool. 6'5" SG who is a born competitor. It was great going to games and seeing him catch 360 alley oops. Drew some recognition when he kept his Holy Cross team in the game with a stacked Duke roster while battling injuries. Here's some of his accomplishments.

2.Vince Carter: One of the best dunkers ever, so fun to watch

3.Kobe Bryant: just love his footwork and how fundamentally sound he is

4.Pau Gasol: What can I say, I love big men who can use both hands and are great fundamentally, I think the best basketball player fundamental wise in the league

5.Mark Macon: Literally carried Temple to the Elite Eight, one of the best college players I've seen and he went to the same school as me

6.Dajuan Wagner: What can I say, living in PA and watching this guy play in high school was amazing, one of the best players I've seen.

7.Allen Iverson: What can i say, a Sixers icon, loved his toughness and carried his team to the finals by himself

8.John Stockton: Love white guys who can play, one of the best defenders and passers ever

9.Steve Nash: Probably the funniest guy to watch, his passes are just ridiculous and if you give him space he'll nail a three

10. Brandon Jennings: I love flashy cocky players and he can back it up. Love his style and attitude.
