Final Four

I hate to post anything this time of year because my team is doing so good and I dont want to be bias but, yall are out of your minds...

You think this isnt a good Final Four because there arent many NBA prospects?? IMO, that makes it even better. You wil see 4 teams with great coaches doing what they do best. They will execute and win big games. You saw what the college NBA team, Kentucky, did when down. They choaked. You know why?? Because thier coach is not a great coach, just a great recruiter. He got some great freshmen, paid them, promised them the NBA, and turned them loose. WVU, a team that everyone doubts, out smarted them. The game plan, against WVU, was to let them shoot threes, and when that wasnt working, was there a coaching change?? NO! They played the same way the whole game and lost because of it. I dont blame that loss on the players, I blame it directly on the coach. You wont see a team implode with these last 4 teams.

These last 4 teams are the epidimidy of college basketball. They are why I watch. I want to see good players, great coaches, well executed plays, and close games.

If you dont want to see this Final Four, then you dont love college basketball. You love the NBA. You only watch so that you can come here, make your mock draft, and pretend that what you think of prospects mean something. Infact, most of you all dont even watch the games. You watch a player and a box score. When a big name player puts up big numbers or has a highlight on SC you all fall in love with them. This may be the best Final Four in this past decade. Unless you want to see the Warriors play the Nets in the championship game.

Oh, another thing.. Yall go ahead and rock my points. You give me negatives till you are blue in the face.. Go back into my history and do it. I dont care. Honestly, Im pretty fed up with this site and in another week or 2, Im done with it... You are all bias and, most of you all, dont have a freaking clue what you are talking about.

NBADraft.net, it was fun while it lasted.. I guess...

8th, don't leave just don't

8th, don't leave just don't respond to the trolls on this site. I was actually thinking about you last night when WVU beat Kentucky. I was like man 8th must be soooooo happy, I would like to hear what he has to say. Though, yeah most people on this site think they know it all, but for the most part everyone on this site knows nothing (I include myself).

Tezo, I ever tell you how

Tezo, I ever tell you how jealous I am of you to be able to watch a top mid-major basketball program AND watch free practices. I will expect a full scouting report on each team like you did when Butler played Siena.

It's always an exciting time

It's always an exciting time in Indianapolis when the Final Four is held here. I've been to every one, plus the free practices since 1991.

My favorite Final Fours are from 1997 and 2006! I loved 1997 the most though. It had both great coaches and players. That's when Arizona, Kentucky, Minnesota and North Carolina were in it.

Arizona was coached by Olson, and had Bibby and Simon. Kentucky was coached by Pitino, and had Anderson and Mercer. North Carolina was coached by Dean Smith, and had Carter, Jamison, Cota and Williams! Minnesota was coached by Haskins, and had Bobby Jackson, Quincey Lewis, John Thomas and Courtney James, who was from Indianapolis. I'll never forget the show VC put on for the crowd at their practice. Definitely my favorite Final Four. The championship game between Arizona and Kentucky was intense.

I argue with my parents 24/7 lol. They try to team up on me. Seriously though... My mom has the most basketball brains.

I graduated from ISU in 2006 and played there for two seasons... Damn, time flies lol.

It's all good lol. My dad

It's all good lol. My dad played for Iowa and my mom played for IU. They both met at North Central High School here in Indianapolis... Then they split up and went to different schools in the Big Ten lol. They still argue about that today. My dad now cleans/fills teeth and does root canals for a living lol, while my mom is busy crunching numbers for an accounting firm. That NCAA commercial about majority of student-athletes doing something other than professional sports after college is true lol.

For sure it's true. Well

For sure it's true. Well what does your father think about Iowa getting McCaffery as there new head coach?? I think it's a great move for Iowa, and they'll do a lot better.

Actually... It's funny you

Actually... It's funny you brought that up!!! It's a big topic around here. My old man is friends with Todd Lickliter. They played highschool ball together at North Central High School. He's upset about the firing lol. He's yet to comment on the new hiring.

well Tezo if he was at the

well Tezo if he was at the Butler-Siena game with you he knows he is getting a good coach. I just think Butler had better talent than Siena. I bet it does hurt that your old man's friend was fired, but he didn't get the job done that's how it works in life. I think your old man will be happy with McCaffery in a couple years. With Lickliter I think it was just he couldn't handle the recruiting and what not, I bet he's a good coach, but coaching major conference ball if you can't recruit the right players you're screwed.

@midwestbbscout... Lol

@midwestbbscout... Lol that's funny. I don't think people realize just how talented this area is. I seriously think LN recruits though. I don't know how they manage to have a 7 footer every season.

@knicksfan7... I thought Lickliter did a terrible job. I made my dad upset the other day when I asked him, "I wonder if they'll rip up his son's scholarship?" Lol. Lickliter's son, John, plays for the team.

Lickliter did recruit one of my friends though... His name is Devon Archie. He came from Vincenne's JUCO. He got injured this year, so he sat out the entire season. He has two years of elligibility remaining. He's about 6' 9" and is very long and athletic. Keep your eye on him.

HAHAHAHAHAHA that prob

HAHAHAHAHAHA that prob pissed your dad off. I bet he said something like this:

Father Tezo: That isn't funny.
Tezo: No it isn't funny, it was hilarious.
Father Tezo: How would you of felt if I coached at ISU when you were there and they ripped up your scholarship after I got fired.
Tezo: Didn't happen, so it's irrelevant.

I bet some of these public schools recruit. I am from New York (Long Island), but Lincoln which has produced Stephon Marbury, Telfair, Lance Stephenson, it is believed there coach Dwayne "Tiny" Morton recruits players to play for him.

Public Schools

all city public schools in cities recruit......last year Wayne Blackshear transferred to Morgan Park from Curie 2 weeks before the state tournament so he could be eligible to play this year at Morgan Park where his AAU coach is also the head coach....there was a piece about it on Outside the Lines....
