He reminds me of Monta

He reminds me of Monta Ellis. I saw him play head-to-head against Ryan Harrow and that was anm epic AAU game. His best case is Ellis IMO. Very explosive and quick but with a perimeter game as well with range that is at the college 3. I like him alot as a big-time scoring player as an undersized SG. He's not a PG though. That's a problem for the long-term possibly.

Iggy

He's only 5,11 though...On a good day. Ellis is like 6,2-6,3.

i agree with gregoden08. hes

i agree with gregoden08. hes freakishly athletic but seems raw as a point guard from the games and highlights ive seen. should make for a good college player though and hopefully with the right instruction hell become a professional via overseas or somebodys bench in the nba

Probably?

He's like 17 or 18 years old. Lol just because he's short that doesn't mean he's going to grow. 2-3 inches is quite a bit!

He got game

I think he can refine his game and learn to be more of a PG with the right coaching and Memphis got themselves a good young coach. He will be given the keys from day one. With them hops he got a chance do make it if he work hard on learning to run a team. But at best he will be a game changer of the bench. He reminds me of a more explosive Bobby Jackson.

maybe its the games you saw but watching him in vegas his jumper didnt look that great. most of the baskets i saw him score were on drives. very quick and athletic. they had another kid on there team who reminded me of CDR but i dont remember his name

He's not like Telfair

He's not like Telfair because Telfair has good passing ability and is a PG. Jackson shows neither at Telfair's level.

not the best comparison but

not the best comparison but i'm saying he can't shoot which, like telfair, would make a nba career short lived.

most athletic highschool players cant shoot though. hopefully thats what he will be working on in college and during the summer. actually i remember reading a article of how alot of college and nba players cant shoot when they are young if they are gifted as athletes

Yeah because why take a

Yeah because why take a jumper when they can drive and dunk it/lay it up which is the higher percentage shot.

exactly...but then when you

exactly...but then when you cant do that anymore because of the defense you arent as effective which is a good reason to have a jumper as well

I agree with your previous

I agree with your previous post, I just said that because that is how most of them think. Then they get to the college level and they play teams that have 2-3 guys that can defend you and if you don't learn a jump shot you're screwed.
