Nets win there 9th game of the season finally! lol now they won't have to worry about avoiding having the record instead they tie for it :D. But Yi 31 points career high and 37 points for Brook Lopez career high both with monster games. Good win and they also have there first win streak of the season.
Why is that bad blazerfan? I was hoping for this all year. This would not have been a good record to set.
Wow. Lopez 37, didn't think he had it in him, and definitely not Yi. Nets must have been really hard. Then again they were playing the Pistons so what did you expect. Go Nets. Win 3 straight
yea but its not like I'm a fan of the nets and it could've been a record. Its not often we get to witness these kind of records being broken.
ya'll are gonna see alot of guys getting career highs during the end of the season. happens every year. most of the guys doing it will be guys who usually dont score near that during the begining and midseason
I have a bold prediction: the Nets will improve by 15+ wins next season.
so bold...no doubt they will improve by 15 plus...one free agent and a top 3 pick(Potentially Wall) and lopez, lee, harris they are a 30-39 win team
I didn't want to say 20+ until I know what pick they get in the draft.
if they get Wall it's 20+
Yeah if they get Wall they might contend for the playoffs
I think that roster is almost completely turned over for next season. If they return more than four players from this year's team next year I would be surprised.
It isn't to say the change will necessarily mean they become relevant in the league, but they need to bring in as many new faces as possible to sell any amount of hope to their fans.
Is a pretty damn good lineup....EXPLOSIVE backcourt and wings.......and a dominant scorer in the post....and thats WITHOUT free agents
What they need is a new coach. He acts like he doesn't even want to be there. They've got some nice young talent there but needs some nurturing
haha...would you want to be there?
this will be without a doubt the most improved team next year regardless if they get a big name in free agency. just imagine if they got lebron...
lebron (yes he can easily play 4, imagine the matchup nightmare for other teams)
this would be my east favorite even if they didnt get wall, turner would fit in too because devin harris can play both guard spots
Any team can do that plug LeBron into their starting lineup and say they will be favorites. It just doesn't hold up. There is one of him, and 30 teams who are just one LeBron away. Not only because LeBron completely transforms a team on his own, but will have a Pied Piper effect of vets who want to play on his team that has already taken place in Cleveland. Hey look, Shaq, Moon, Z, Tawn, Parker, Mo, Powe... man what happened to that crappy supporting cast that couldn't play?
I'd also hold back on this Terrence Williams as a starter thing that seems to be out there. It may just be me, but I think a starting small forward should be able to shoot the ball. I also think Yi and Lee will probably either be dealt or moved to the bench. If they get Wall or Turner, their hopes for the future cannot help but go up. At this point, I have to point out that the odds of them getting the first or second pick are still less than 50-50.
if they get wall they might contend for the playoffs????..lol.....riiiiiiiight. i know hes good but lets not go overboard. they couldnt make the playoffs last year with harris as a allstar and vince carter so ya'll think wall will put up harris last year numbers and make the allstar team and lead them to the playoffs even though harris and vince couldnt...riiiiiiight. but they will imporve. at least they should
The East is WEAK outside the top 4 teams. I didn't mean that just cuz they have Wall they'll automatically make the playoffs. Everyone on that team has room for improvement and if they bring in a big name FA they could contend.
