Weird Arguement on ESPN radio just now...

Some people were talking NCAA basketball and they said Greg Monroe said he was coming back after the Ohio loss.

Is that just a emotional move or do you think he was serious? I do not believe he should come back but I'm kinda sour on Monroe. I expected a monster but he's kinda passive IMO.
Whatcha think?

No that's it is very

No that's it is very possible he will come back to Georgetown, nothing to do with emotion. He seems like a guy who enjoys playing basketball as well as being a student, and wants to get a degree as well. Roy Hibbert could have came out earlier, but didn't and he still got selected in round 1. I have no problem with a guy staying for another year in his college career it shows he can make a choice and not let others dictate what he wants to do.

I agree. I think Monroe

I agree. I think Monroe might come back if his stock began to plummet and others increase. He will be a lotto pick but where is the question. He reminds me of Vlade Divac alot.

Monroe doesn't seem like the

Monroe doesn't seem like the guy who is chasing the money and fame, and is ready to win where ever he goes. Knicksboy you have to remember that G'Town's system is not centered around 1 player rather the whole team, so there are some things Greg Monroe can't show off because of the system. I understand why you're low on Monroe, but he is a very selfless player.

Barring injury (and I'm

Barring injury (and I'm betting he'd get insurance) how can Monroe drop by staying? He is not going to get dumber, smaller, or less skilled by returning. He knows how to play, does so well, and has a remarkable selflessness for a big man who can do everything he can.

If he wants to stay, good for him. It thins out the impact players in this draft.

I know that system is pretty

I know that system is pretty balanced but I don't see them attacking other teams with Monroe. I just never saw a game ( Other then the Duke game) where Monroe had moments where he had that " I'm the man, I'm putting this ball in the basket" face.
