The APL (Athletic Propulsion Labs) shoe

What do you guys think, It's supposed to raise your vert.
I play competitively and am going to try to walk on when i go to college next year. I want to buy the shoes but idk what i should do. The steep price at $300 is making me think about it. Should i pre-order them or should i wait to see what the reaction is once they come out?

I sent him a message all excited, even though I was pretty sure it wasn't you. I think I freaked him out. Especially when I told him that I was going to blank his blank with my blank.
