Who is this guy?
An undrafted player out of Virginia Military is dropping 14.2pts 3.6reb 2.3ast in his first 12 games for the Warriors. He is shooting 54%fg 86%ft 48%3pt
Are the rims in Golden State just a little bigger then everywhere else? I know everyone says it is just the system they run but the guys still have to put in in the net.
Why do these D-leaguers only seem to come up and put up numbers for GS only? Tolliver, Watson...
Edit- I see Quincey is on the prowl today, so for you Quincey, I am not saying these guys are going to be stars..ok? I don't have the energy to go back and forth with you today buddy! I just want to understand what makes the Warriors so different then every other team when it comes to shooting.
lol @ edit
i watched him two days ago against phoenix, and he dropped 29 points despite the fact that monta ellis was basically going one on one every time down. He is without a doubt more then just a product of GStates system. He was geting to the rim even down the stretch. Even in a close game he was doing his thing and barely missed a couple runners in traffic. DUde is gonna get paid this summer. His jumper is cash either while shooting set or off the dribble pull up.
GS with back to back undrafted gems..
Morrow and Williams..
Plus Tolliver is also solid..
I think it is don nelson. as much as i hate his coaching style i have to admit that he gives his players a lot of confidence. Reggie was able to go out their and do that because he honestly believes he belongs, part of that is his own doing but i think a lot of it is don nelson.
true, there's no question that offense lets you do your own thing. GUys will get a chance to shine, but in the end, that doesn't win championships. Take Nate Robinson for example, he had all kinds of big games in new york and was scoring buckets. Now he plays in defense oriented half court offense in boston and he barely puts up numbers any more. It's not that he got worse, it's just going one on one and jacking up shots is not how you win a title. Don Nelson is one of those coaches that wil be good for your stats, but you don't win that way on a consistent basis.
VMI was a high scoring team, so are the Warriors. I think he is talented, but it helps that he is playing in Nellie's system.
Nelson knows how to find swingman, He was the same way in Dallas. He is not so good at find out front court players that is why I say that whoever thinks GSW take a swingman is dumb. They can easily find a swingman to play in their system anywhere and Johnson is not so above Favors and Cousins that they take him over the two talented big guys.
Nellie doesnt give anthony randolph much confidence, imagine what he could do with consistant minutes.
impretty sure randolph has been out with an injury since like november
