If You Are OKC, Would You Go Over The Cap This Summer To Win A Title Now?

I gotta check to see if OKC has "max" money, but I know they have money to spend. Most people (including me) think they are going to use that money to extend Durant and/or Green. But what if they suddenly look at the landscape and decide to go for broke? Remember that "build from within plan" was in place BEFORE they started tearing up the standings a year early than expected. We aren't talking about "developing" anymore. Yes, they will continue to improve and develop as players but as a team they have proven themselves to be a playoff worthy team for the foreseeable future. The next step is contending for a championship. OKC is an imcomplete team as everyone knows. They need another cornerstone to get to the next level. This is the last year OKC will have cap room for several years. This summer's free agent class will be the best of AT LEAST the next five years. OKC has two first round picks in this year's draft. If they can't convert those picks into a lotto selection, then I strongly believe they should blow up their cap for a first or maybe a second tier free agent and then extend Durant and Green. If they can pull off a two for one draft pick swap, then they should keep their cap space for KD and Green. OKC has some good options this summer, and they along with Chicago and maybe Miami are actually the teams to watch.

I think Cousins would be a good choice, but...I mean.
The Perfect Center would probably be Emeka or Camby.
They don't really demand the Ball and defend as well as Rebound Pretty Darn Good.
I wouldn't take Aldrich...No Sir.

No free agent this summer

No free agent this summer fits their team. But if they feel like they can't get a good C out of the draft, I would love to see them move their picks/expiring contracts for a legit center...okafor isn't my favourite, but he's better then kristic, and better then anyone they could potentially get in the next few years if they can't land someone out of this draft.

If I were them

Id be rushing to get Camby, than I'd draft Paul George in the late 1st to get KD a backup

Camby

They should really get Camby as he will be the best center available. But I don't think Camby will make them a champion. They need someone who can play in the post and as of right now they really have no post player and that is a must have to win a ring.
