Interesting post... Are you

Interesting post... Are you basing this off of the NBA careers they had or them being prospects coming out of high school/college?

i picked connie hawkins so

i picked connie hawkins so early because if he would have been in the NBA sooner he would most likely be considered up there in the top 12
i picked artis gilmore because he also didnt play real young in the NBA but was so strong and was virtually unstoppable as he still holds the alltime fieldgoal percentage
I picked maurice stokes despite him only playing 3 seasons he proved to be very stong and dominant

If you're basing this off of

If you're basing this off of NBA careers, then LeBron James isn't second... That's crazy. You're basically saying he's already the 2nd greatest of all-time behind Jordan... But you have Kobe Bryant at 12???

daaaam u got Tim Duncan

daaaam u got Tim Duncan rated toooooooo low..Duncan will be in the top 15 when his career is done... I've never heard of Joe Hammond...You've got to find some way to include Magic in the top 5....Plus if i was starting a team...I'll chose I. Thomas over Stockton..But if there are 3 other allstar type players on my team...I'll have to pick Stockton over Thomas...I still can't figure out how Gervin made the top 50 greatests..But Dominique Wilkens didn't..Both were individual performers..That did nothing to make their teammates better

oscar roberston would go

oscar roberston would go 2nd.. I know LeBron averages 28-7-7 but the Big O averages 30-10-9.. Much better.

You have Timmy at 28 behind

You have Timmy at 28 behind Robinson, who won two rings, and only as a second banana to Duncan? Pete Maravich, even though I love the guy, never won anything, he was just damn fun to watch. Wilt is way too high considering that he only played to accrue stats for himself, as talented as he was, he was definitely a team-wrecker. I personally would rather have Hakeem the Dream than Shaq, but that is debatable, regardless, Hakeem is way too low. Connie Hawkins, Earl Maigualt, Joe Hammond... Where did that come from? And no Pippen, Isiah Thomas, KG, Bill Walton (Assuming his feet don't fall off), or Barkeley? I will defend the Lebron being on this list, if the Cavs ever figure out how to build around him he will win multiple rings

I would much rather have

I would much rather have Shaq than Wilt. If Shaq played in Wilt's time and played where the majority of the big men were 6' 6"-6' 8", he could very easily do just as much as Wilt did, especially if he shoots 60+ times and 30+ free throws to get to 100 points

If you base players on the

If you base players on the competition they played against then Lebron could go that high. However if you did that you might as well take everyone from before 1980 of the board.

I stopped looking when I

I stopped looking when I found Hakeem ranked so Low...or rather Drafted.
I don't know Stats, but Hakeem played Karl a couple of times and his Team usually won...or I think the Rockets did.
Plus he beat a Younger Shaq, but I guess you can say he MAY be better...I'd take Hakeem over Moses too.
Hakeem is a Top 15 at Least! Maybe Top 10..
