Cincy will win tonight
lance is looking pretty good. not great but good. if anyone thinks the madness is gonna bother hum must not have ever been to a rucker game. the fans are wayyyyyyy more rowdey and alk wayyyy more trash. playing in nyc prepares you for themadness
Someone questioned Stephenson's toughness? Woah. That's his strongest trait IMO.
WVU will win though. I'm not sold on Vaughn as a PG. He's looked pretty bad this year playing the point as he's had to get used to not being the only legit scoring threat on the roster.
WVU wins 74-65. Look for Ebanks length to be a big threat in the way Stephenson plays.
If not for the crazy hype that comes with being a NY prep legend, Stephenson would be getting praised for being one of the best freshmen in the Big East. He has had a very good season. Obviously, he isn't a finished product or ready for the NBA, but the tools are there. He can work on becoming a better shooter and doing a better job of getting his body into balance before shooting. The nice part of the one-and-done rule is that now Stephenson has realized that he has work to do, and has said he will be back for his sophomore year to better get ready. Of course, nobody mentions this when defending the rule.
As for tonight, I don't think he is going to fare particularly well if Ebanks is guarding him. That is an NBA defender he will be going at.
Ebanks defends every position. He defended Steph Curry and then DeJuan Blair last year. He can do it all on defense.
Um.. I dont think Im going to comment on who will win this game because I am going to be very bias and probably come off as a prick.. I'll bite my tongue.. er' uh ball up my fist???
Maybe.. It, like all defensive assignments, depends on the matchup. I think he will guard Stevenson tonight. KJ starts at PF and can defend them pretty well. Welligton Smith defends the C. Butler usually defends the SG unless he is an absolute stud, then Ebanks defends him to keep Butler out of trouble.. It all depends but I think he is on Lance tonight.
i was thinking the same thing about lance iggy. you can see the potential. his handles are nice and he has very good court vision. he reminds me of evans because he can handle and pass and is strong and can get to the hole very well. dont think hes as good as eveans but he does some of the same things evans can do. lances change of direction is very very nice as well
born ready for 3. man i didnt know he was shooting that horrible from three point land though. like i told someone on here though good new yorkkids arent bothered by the madness
Lance is still very rough around the edges, but he is fearless and isn't thinking twice about taking the shot when it counts. That can't be taught, once he refines his game, I really think he is going to be a force in college, and later the NBA.
I think Lance is a large AI wanna be.. He pounds the ball through the floor then passes for a shot or throws up something crazy. Iverson used to dribble for 20 seconds and either shoot or pass for a quick shot.
yeah hes rough around the dges which you expect as a freshman and even with that you can see the talent. the talent was never a issue though it was always his head which seems better now

Just a gut feeling tht Cincy will beat WVU tonight. What are yalls thoughts on born ready this tourny
